I'm still plugging away at the Christmas card stash.  And once that's done comes the addressing, signing and postage stamping.  I'd like to get the overseas and west coast cards out by the end of the month. Cross your fingers for me.

This card is visiting Christmas Kickstart Challenge (snippets) and CAS Colours and Sketches (sketch).

I started by using MFT's Holiday Background in Fog ink. Then I used a leftover piece of glittered paper to cut the merry and the berries. A snippit of green left over from yesterdays wreath had enough left to cut the holly leaves. I hope you can see the sketch in my card.

Thanks for visiting.

Hi...another start of the week. My agenda is still the same - finish those Christmas Cards.

I have a few cards for a few challenges, starting with The Male Room Challenge and Watercooler Wednesday.

Next up is Double D Challenges and Die Cut Diva's:

This is a mini slimline...and you know what...its the perfect size to pop a check into!

The stamp is an old beloved Hero Arts stamp, stamped once in the middle of the card then once on each end. Some light inking around the trees and then a double layer of the scalloped frame. Also inked the card base edges.

And my last card for this post is visiting Tic Tac Toe Challenge and the Card Concept.

For my clean and simple card I went with the top left to right bottom diagonal - Plaid, Wreath, Red.

Thanks so very much for visiting. Time to go cook.

Hi, me again.

I wanted to make one more card for my pile as I know I'll be watching football most of tomorrow and will get no cards done.

This card is visiting Color Hues - Silver and Gold as well as Watercooler Wednesday - Masculine. The black card base gives the card a formal feel and I think it works well as a man card despite the glitter and foil.

Sliver and Gold glitter cardstock from MFT, the gold foil paper is from SU, the leaves are from SSS as well as the sentiment.

Hey There -

A quick post since this time of year not many of us have time for much more than glancing at the photos.

My winter penguin thank you card is going to visit the galleries at:

Critter Crazy Challenge, The Sisterhood of Crafters and Craft Rocket Challenges

Stamp-Newton's Nook (Penguin Pile), SU snowflake sequins, PPP gems, SSS Sentiment (from Us).

Another card with those gorgeous colors at Color Throwdown, and using the sketch at Fusion for this card.

The stamp set is from Simon Says Stamp. The embossing folder is from WRMK.  Three ornaments were stamped and 1 was embossed with a sentiment.  I cut a strip off the embossed panel (Thank you Greta)  so that it allowed the left side of the cardbase to be plain and flat. The ornaments were assembled after die cutting and gold cord and bows were added to finish the card.

Thanks much for stopping by.

 Hi There -

Another card for today.  This one is inspired by several challenges - the colors from Inky Paws, the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the theme from CAS Christmas.

The stamp is from Newton's Nook - Purr-fect Present. The sentiment is from SSS.

I think I have my Christmas card stash about 9 shy of my initial estimate of 60. There are a few cards I do want to duplicate, and once I start with the addressing there are sure to be more empty envelopes needing a card no matter how hard I try to limit them. LOL.

 Thanks so much for visiting.

This Christmas day will mark a milestone anniversary of my Mom's passing.

I miss her every day, still.

She loved angels and she would have loved this card.

This card was inspired by her love of angels and the color combination at Color Throwdown

The angel die is from Simon Says Stamp as is the sentiment.

Thanks for visiting.

After seeing the reminder for The Flower Challenge's challenge, I decided to make one more card. I'll also be adding it to the Watercooler Wednesday gallery

I used three WPLUS9 stamp sets, I found it quicker & easier to use just 2 (rose) or three (hellebore) stamps for the multi-step blooms. The sentiment comes from Simon Says Stamp and the panel die is from The Greetery.

Thanks much for visiting.

 Hi There-

Its Saturday and my day has been filled with laundry, college football, and putting together this card after having spend days stamping and die cutting and fussy cutting the smaller pieces because I ran out of patience. I fell in love with this stamp after seeing Yana Smakula's card.  I did use it as a jumping off point for my design.

There are several challenges this will go visit: We Love Stamping, Stamping Sensations and The Flower Challenge.

This new Happy Poinsettia from Simon Says Stamp is a fun flower and has lots of options with the included greenery pieces. I was able to add lots of "leaves". The sentiment also comes from Simon Says Stamp. The die for the panel is Nordic Frames from The Greetery and the jewels are from Pretty Pink Posh. I bought them for summer cards and they never made a good match...until now. YAY.

The theme at We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations is Christmas.

Thanks very much for visiting.

To all our Veteran's thank you so very much for your service.

I love the little monsters from PPP's Monster Hugs stamp set.  I thought they'd make a cute thank you card as well.

I masked the hugs part of the sentiment and found a thanks sentiment that would go with the silly nature of the card.  The die cut monsters and the sentiment flag were mounted on a card base stamped with a text background from SSS You matter.

I am sending this card to the following challenges:

CAS Colours and Sketches      Simon Says Stamp Wed Challenges  Watercooler Wednesday

Thanks for stopping by.

 Greeting All-

I still have a few Fall/Thanksgiving cards to finish so I can mail them by next week.  This is the latest one for my pile.

It was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

This lil gal and her pup are from MFT - Pile of Fun. The plaid paper is from Stampin Up. Copics for coloring.

Thank you for visiting!

 Hi There -

Its a bit nippy out this evening.  I am finishing laundry and playing with my crafty toys.  Hubs was a sweetie and brought me a meal, letting me extend my crafty session.

First up - Just Us Girls - Leaves

I fell in love with these ginkgo leaves from The Greetery.  I cut them from white card, then added fossilized amber distress ink with a blending brush. They were glued to a brown card base, a gold sentiment and some gold flat disks were added to finish the card.

Next up a card for Tic Tac Toe using the left side row. I'm also adding this card to the MFT color challenge.

The mouse is from MFT's Harvest Mouse set, I have had the set for a while and recently picked up the dies since its never leaving my stash!

Thanks so very much for visiting.

11-1-21 2nd

 Hi there,

I'm back with one more card for today.

The theme over at the Inky Paws Challenge is plaid.

While I have the NND Gingham stencil, I don't have the plaid. I did manage to find some Plaid paper in fall colors to build my card.  I used Paw-Tum Newton stamp set along with the Frames and Flags dies to cut each of the layers on the card.

I colored with pencils and used a blending pencil to smooth out the colors. I did place a lil pumpkin on top of the bird that rests at the bottom right of the milk can because I wanted another pumpkin and it seemed the perfect place.

Thanks much for visiting, have a great evening.

Hello November...wow can it really be NOVEMBER?

As I was going through blogs this afternoon, I saw CAS Mix UP and thought I better play now. I often wait too long.

I used a flower stencil, diestress inks in some reds, orange and yellow. I die cut my favorite part of the print and added a white triple layer diecut on top. The center of the flower was dipped on a gold ink pad. The sentiment was stamped and fussy cut then mounted with foam tape. Because I couldn't leave it alone I added 3 black dots.

Have you tried a stencil mono print? Its fun and the challenge is open until the 24th of November.

Thanks for visiting.
