 Hello again,

One more card for the weekend.  When I saw Less is More's challenge this morning I knew exactly what my card would look like.  Yup another piece of that gorgeous SU flocked vellum was coming out to play.

Pretty Pink Posh's Scalloped Circle frame die cut three times to encircle the poinsettia. I added 3 pearls to the center and the sentiment (Merry Christmas) is white embossed on top of a piece of white cardstock wrapped around the card.  All this white was difficult to photograph. Reminds me how amazing our brains and eyesight really are. as its quite easy to see the sentiment IRL.

Thanks for visiting, especially if you did it twice in one day. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend.

I am trying to get my Thanksgiving cards finished so I can mail them timely and finish up the 31 more Christmas cards I need.  ITs the busy season for a card maker.

At CAS Colours & Sketches this time its a sketch.  I made a quick card with die cuts.

The dies for the leaves and branches are from Stampin Up's die set that goes with Forever Fern and the sentiment is from the Greetery.

Thanks for stopping by for a few.

 Hey there!

I faced desk piled from one end to the other with the crafty stuff I did not put away after making 4 more of yesterday's cards.  So I shoved it all to the left in a less than neat pile and began on this card for Peace on Earth and Addicted to Stamps.

The various blues and the cabin in the Peace on Earth mood board inspired this monochromatic card. I think it'll be a good man card.  And its a Christmas card, perfect for Addicted to Stamps.

Supplies: The Greetery Nordic Frames Dies, Hero Arts Navy ink, Paper Trey Ink Enchanted Evening Cardstock, and Altenews mini set Winter Cottage (retired).

Thanks very much for visiting.

 Hi All-

The colors at Color Throwdown and the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches inspired this card.

Once again I grabbed those fabulous leaf stamps from SU (Forever Fern), along with PinkFresh Studios Mini Slimline Essentials dies, The Greetery's Autumn die, 3 flat sequins, Simon Says Stamp ink in Orange Soda and Dark Chocolate and their square sayings die, and an ink blending brush. I cut the base card, folded it, added the first layer of a die cut panel. Then cut the second layer along with the openings.  I figured out where the openings would be and added some blended ink. The top panel is added via foam tape and the stamped and die cut leaves were placed as if they were growing out the openings.  The sentiment is 2 layers of Kraft (there were left overs) and 1 layer gold mirror cardstock. Three flat sequins were added one to each window.

I am kinda crushing on this card...

Thanks for visiting, I appreciate that you take time to say  hi.

 Hi there -

I had a pile of paper and I pulled it out to straighten it and I found again a piece of holly flocked vellum. As I looked at the grid for Tic Tac Toe Challenge, I knew exactly what I'd make for the center row of prompts: Ornament, Red and Holly.

The vellum is from Stampin Up, the ornament from CTMH, the frame from Hero Arts.

Thanks much for visiting.

I saw two sunflower challenges this week and I remembered the Flower Challenge wanted a shape to celebrate their 5th Birthday.  So This is the card that resulted from those bits of inspiration. Along with that challenge, the card will be visiting Double D, The Card Concept, and NBUS.

I broke out my new but never used Stampin Up Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and die set. I used only the sentiment from the stamp set, and used the dies for the remainder of the card.

I cut the solid sunflower from a So Saffron card base leaving just a bit of the die off the folded edge. I then cut the outline and center portions from a lighter yellow cardstock.  I used brown ink to darken the centers. A white circle was cut to fit inside the sunflower, as that is the shape portion for this card and that's where a little note can be written.  I cut the two leaves from Jade cardstock and then used a copic marker to darken the vein and outline portion of the leaves.  I had a left over part of a card base left over after cutting the flower outline, that became the background to my card along with a piece of gingham paper.  The sentiment was stamped on the left over So Saffron.

The only place this card opens is the sunflower, that is the shape for The Flower Challenge and I am calling this clean and layered for The Card Concept.

Thanks much for visiting.

10-21-21 part 2

I have a fall card for three challenges, Addicted to Stamps and More, Watercooler Wednesday and Freshly Made Sketches.

The sketch gave the design, its definitely a girly card and I used copic markers to color the main images.

Thanks so much for stopping in!

(Stamps : Newton's Nook Autumn Newton -Sentiment, MFT Leaf Skeleton Background, MFT Piles of Fun)

I had those nutcrackers out on my desk and had to have another go at coloring before I go back to fall and Thanksgiving cards.

I am sending this card to Peace On Earth Christmas challenge - its anything goes and you get an inspiration board. (The colors in the photos, those boots and the black and white check inspired my design choices)

Thanks so very much for visiting.

 Hi There-

Another surprise in the mail from my friend Peggy - the Nutcrackers from Avery Elle.  My Mom loved nutcrackers at Christmas time and this stamp set definitely brings back memories.

The colors at Color Hues challenge are Red and Kraft, I thought the nutcracker and some pine boughs from Stampin Up would work together nicely.

Thanks so much for visiting.

10-18-21 part 2

I decided I needed to play at CAS Christmas my friend Marcia is hosting and has chosen the color combination of Gray and Red.

Stamps and edge die from Stampin Up's Festive and Bright adorn the edge, I added the fun Merry from MFT for the panel's left.  I stacked it on top of a second cut out of gray cardstock. The gray panel was mounted onto a white cardbase.

Thanks so much for visiting.

As soon as I saw the graphic at Cupcake Inspirations I knew I had to play along.  I recently was gifted Pretty Pink Posh's Monster Hugs stamp set and it is perfect for this challenge.  And, CI is partnering along with Double Trouble Paper Crafting for a second challenge opportunity -- I opted for thing1 and thing 3 as I am hopeless with washi tape.

I stamped and colored a whole bunch of the cuties, then die cut them.  I made 3 cards, all have a "Happy Halloween" sentiment either on the front or inside. I did love playing with these cute monsters.

Below are the challenge graphics.

 Hi there -

I still had stamps and dies and a total mess all over my desk including the ink cubes in blues and browns. I so loved the color combo over at Color Throwdown, that I had to make another card.

I'm also still playing with the Greetery stamps and dies Floral Delicacy and Deco Dies and Everyday Lables. I used Altenew's inks in Espresso, Rocky Shore, Iceberg and Eastern Sky.

Thanks so very much for visiting.
