 Hello-

I have a lattice card for you today.  My Stampin Up demo did a you tube tutorial on the process here, and its taken me quite a while to try making one.  I am using the Marigold Moments stamp set...I think the blooms also look a lot like carnations. Which prompted me to go with that lovely sky color in the mood board below.  I am submitting this to Triple B's April challenge.

 Hello-

Another fun time in my crafty space.  I have a card for you that will be visiting Double D Challenge -Things that fly and Simon Says Stamp with Things with Wings

I gathered together some patterned paper (SU Dainty Flowers), a card base (PTI Lovely Lady), a dragonfly die (The Greetery) and a scripty sentiment(SU Go to Greetings) ...and of course a bit of black to make it all stand out.

I pounced color on the dragon fly using Altenew inks in pink diamond and midnight violet. A random brown on the antennae and then put the 4 pieces together.  I loved this dsp from Stampin Up, and thought the oval was a perfect landing spot for the dragon fly. I do enjoy a bit of black to make everything stand out so a very thin border mat on the dsp and a fussy cut sentiment finished the card.  A little shimmer stix daubed on the wings and the card was done. I have a few more ovals and will probably have to make a few more dragonfly cards. I am quite smitten with this one.

Thanks for visiting.

 Hello-

Its been a bit.  I am finding more joy in my craft room than I have in the past year.  I am creating to create not just to enter challenges.

This morning I woke up early (for me) and I finished die cutting some pieces for a Christmas card that has yet to be put together...but all the pieces are there.  I am making 10 of that design.

After cleaning up, I was looking at the Stampin Up goodies that my demonstrator sends when a purchase of 50 or more is made.  This batch included extras -- gems, full card size panels of the new embossing folders, A2 panels of the new colors, and new in colors. I so appreciate that she does that. Seeing the actual colors and textures helps in decision making.

This time she also added 2x2 squares of one of the designer paper packs, the blue country prints.  Not much one can do with those, but I decided to cut them up and make a patchwork panel.  I was able to make two cards, one will go to my demo to thank her for the goodies above and beyond the purchase threshold goodie.

Yes, I used two of the embossed panels as well.

Have a great rest of the week, and thanks for stopping by.

 Hello-

I am sharing one of my all time favorite cards today.  It was a lot of work...I think there were close to 20 steps with each stamping, die cutting, trimming and gluing parts.  I think the end result was worth the time it took to make this card, but I probably won't do it again for a batch of 20.

I am  submitting this to Four Seasons Anything Spring and Time out Challenges photo (fence and flowers).

Thank you for stopping by.

Hello-

I have a lot of birthdays coming up, so I made a few of these-

I think they are cheerful and will likely elicit a smile from the recipient.  I used MFT's Make a wish stamp set and dies. The patterned paper also is an MFT product.  There are several layers on this so it's going to visit AAA Birthday where the brief is Layers.

The stamp has the flames as one piece, and the candles as one piece. I stamped the candles and flames 5 times in 5 colors, then die cut them. After they were die cut, I mixed them so each card had one candle of each color.  With all those patterns between the paper and the actual candles I think it works well to stagger the candles a bit wonky.

Thanks so much for visiting.

 Greetings...how is it April already?

Today I did some inkblending on a one layer card with some masking along two edges.  This card is going to visit two challenges.  Stamping Sensations and Beautiful Blossoms.

I used Altenew inks in Sunkissed and Coral Bliss on both the inking and the Stampin Up blooms.  The stems are Evergreen, and black versafine for the Ellen Hudson Sentiment.  I love this style of card and its been a long time since I played with some masking and inking.

04-02-23-2

 Hi
I am back with a card for three challenges: Color Throwdown, Freshly Made Sketches and Tic Tac Toe.

I used the colors from color throwdown, the sketch from freshly made, and florals/foilage blank pastel colors from the center ttic-tac-toe row which all came together for this card.

I used Reverse Confetti's Sending Smiles stamp and die sets.

Thanks much for visiting.

 Happy Palm Sunday...

I have a card today for Just Add Ink. And since I used an embossing folder for the base, it will also visit Can you Handle the pressure -Easter.

Peggy sent me some die cuts, which I colored using the pouncing method with sponge tipped applicators.

I added some color to the bunny with copics, and colored the carrot and stems by pouncing on ink.  I cut an oval for a focal area, and embossed the base with a basket weave folder.

PS...

I am sure many of you have seen the "new" mushroom shaped sponge daubers out there...

I went to Amazon and searched mushroom shaped make up applicators and got some cute little ones for the more delicate stencils and dies.  No idea if they'd work well or not...but they were beautiful and fast in adding coverage. One can also find the big ones for more coverage.

 Hi

Time for another calendar page.  I loved this image last year for Easter so it had to come out for this page. The image is from Avery Elle.

Bonnie Klass provided the calendar file, I only had to print, cut and choose my monthly decorations.

Copic colored.
