 Hi there,

I managed to get to the crafty space and spend some time crafting.   I decided to play with a new set of dies and stamps from SSS A2 Grid Basics.  There are two die sets and one stamp set.

I decided originally on a dark card base with the white divider.  While I love the way it turned out, a big goof got it to this end point (a good thing that I try not to toss a goof.)

That lower left section got stamped badly, so I cut it out and added a sentiment popped up in the space on the inside panel of the card.  I love that its a bit quirky. It stands nicely so its a big win.

Once I cut out the grid, I didn't want that floppy piece of white card stock in my pile of bits as it would get destroyed with the openings and other things getting stuck in there so I used it .  Most elements are stamped on the white card. I had to re-stamp the tulip and die cut it to cover up another goof.

I had to get a new light box for photos, the old one's power cord lost its bounce and wouldn't turn on consistently.  I grew tired and frustrated with the minutes long search for the sweet spot. I did try to find the cord replacement...but no joy.  I am getting used to the new one.

Thanks for stopping by, now we're all caught up.

 Hello

A new week and they are flying by...

A birthday card for another nephew.  He and his wife have cats, so this one features a kitty done in masculine colors along with an outdoorsy embossing folder with vines all over it.  The card will visit both Divas that Cut Paper as the image is die cut and CAS on Friday calling for animals.

 Hi friends,

So, this one is for a 6 year old to be. I hope its fun for him. The stamp offs were sent by a lovely bloggy friend and I am so glad to have had them.

The main panel was inked with several colors.  The dinosaurs and one palm tree were colored with pencils then fussy cut.  I needed a bit more so I traced the palm and drew it in then colored it on top of the inking. An old favorite sentiment was stamped and the panel was cut with a PB die.

I will be submitting this to the galleries at AAA Birthday Game and Paper Rocks Scissors.

 THanks for visiting.

 Hi Friends,

I love tacos. Chicken, shredded beef, ground beef, fish, shrimp and even in times of desperation a hot dog taco.  So this set grabbed my attention. After a couple of attempts, these came to be.

I think they'll work for guy cards which for me are difficult at best.  One is earmarked for hubs, I bet you can guess which one.

Thanks for hanging in through this post. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

 Hi Friends,

My bestie, my sister by choice has a birthday today. Her favorite color is pink.

The flowers were a gift from Peggy and I had been holding on to them, the foiled piece under the blooms was from a sweet krafty friend. I was afraid of ruining it with coloring. The Altenew blooms landed on top of the foiled piece as I was going through options on my desk. I really loved the look with the uncolored foiled piece below the full color blooms.  The sentiment comes from Ellen Hutson and is on an SU oval.

Happy Birthday Evelyn, I hope you love it!

 Hi friends,

My niece made another visit to my crafty space to make a birthday card. She played with masking, ink blending and a little light coloring. I had the confetti card base in my stash, so that added to the festivity.

Sorry about the pour pic. my lightbox lights decided to go on strike.

Thanks for stopping by.
