Today I am hurrying to get a couple of cards posted to the CAS Stencil Challenge. The theme is layered stencils.
Square stencil inked with two shades, then fireworks
stencil overlaid and embossed in silver.
First stencil was inked in broken china, and then
I laid a wood grain stencil over the first stencil
to preserve the white lines and I added iced spruce ink.
I thought it made a good ocean, so I added a whale tale.
This card is also going to visit Addicted to Stamps, the whale
tale was the inspiration in the lower left corner.

Two great cards, Jo x
These are two really great layered stencil cards, I am so sorry to see that you must have missed the deadline as they are not showing in the gallery. I am glad we can still enjoy the cards though. I particularly like how you have used your stencils to create the see, it has turned out great xx
Those shimmery fireworks are delicious, Cat ... so celebratory against the dark sky! Cool ocean ... the sense of texture is fabulous ... so fun with the punny whale sentiment! Hugs, Anita :)
Just leaving another message to confirm your cards are in the CAS stencil gallery, thank you so much for joining us xx
Two beautiful stencil layering cards Cat! The fireworks glows overtop of your beautiful shades of blue sky. And your layered stenils for the ocean are awesome. Love that whale tail. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Stencil!
Brilliant! Your fireworks in the night sky are awesome, and I really love how creative you got with the whale card.
Very creative double stenciling, Cat! I'm pinning the first one as I HAVE to case it!
