Happy Birthday and Mother's Day

Greetings!

I have several friends and relatives who love pink.  I plucked a new stamp set out of my bin to play with, its from MFT.  I found it a bit difficult to color and stamp on the panel until I cut the stamp in half!

I definitely love the sprig I cut off from the entire stamp.  So much so, that I used it for my besties birthday and my MIL's Mother's Day card.  I lopped off one petal on the Mother's Day card so the flowers would fit in the glittery vase.

The clean and layered Mother's Day card is going to visit The Card Concept Challenge.

Thanks much for the visit!

Beautiful magnolia in their shimmery vases, Cat ... and delicious, subtle background texture! I too do surgery on my stamps ... makes them so much more versatile ... as you've shown so wonderfully here! Your MIL and bestie will be delighted with these lovelies! Hugs, Anita :)

WOW! These are just gorgeous, Cat! Brilliant idea to cut the stamp apart & the glittery vase is spectacular! Of course, you know I'm drawn to pink, but not all pink cards are the same & these go to the top of the list! Thinking of you & wishing you well, my friend!
