 Hello~

Today's card staring Gladys, the Flamingo from Sizzix's line of colorize thinlets took me again hours to to put together.  Still getting used to where all is.  She is visiting  Triple B's July challenge.

I have to say I was not overly thrilled with all the bits and pieces in this die.

I thought it was delightful that not only was the die reference number etched on the back but color selections were as well. The suggestions were pink1, pink2, pink3, black, brown and yellows 1 & 2.

I also appreciate the clean edges on the dies. Nothing to cut apart and leave little pointy pokey bits.

I used copics to color all the bits except for the black pieces.

  • Stamps:MFT Brush Spatter BG; PB Special Sentiments
  • Dies:Gladys-Sizzix; SU Tasteful Labels; SU Scalloped Contours
  • Inks: SU Strawberry Slush, Versafine Black
  • Markers: Copic Y2,6; R20,21,32; E37
  • Papers:  Hammemrmill, SU Strawberry Slush
  • Embellishments: SU Starburst Sequins

 Thanks much for visiting.

Hello-

I spent a few days organizing my messy craft room. I had bins on the floor bins on the desk, bins in my light box, stuff to put away and just general mess.  Today, I got to play in a sweetly organized space, YAY!

This card is going to Triple B....I rarely do bird cards, but this one was fun.

Its a thank you card inside. This is an old SU set Hey Chick. Peggy and I recently swapped a few sets. I love this chicken shes a fun gal I can tell.  I cut all the pieces in white and used markers for the coloring giving the dic cuts a bit of a rustic feel.

Triple B gave us a lovely moodboard, but I went with other colors...I've never seen a purple chicken, and this card was screaming to be made.

 Thanks for stopping by!

 Hello-

I am getting the last of my Easter cards done so they can go in the mail by the end of the week. My international cards have already been mailed.

The tulips are from Altenew. The die cut panel is PTI.

The sentiment is from Avery Elle. I foiled the sentiment, then die cut it. Then foiled the left over foil piece using a full foiling plate and die cut them as well. The negatives give an outlined foiled sentiment. This is a win win 2x's the sentiments one set of foilings.

I'll be placing these into the galleries at Double D and Triple B. One for each.

Thanks much for stopping by.

 Hello again.

I am back in my crafty space on a Sunday no less.  I am usually glued to the football games, but they haven't yet started.  I got a good nights sleep last night, and felt like working on the 12 cards I yet need for my Christmas Card List.

When I saw the colors at Color Hues I knew what I wanted to try...of course the rub is does it match the pic in my head once its done. Today...YES!  I am also sending this to Triple B, because it has a bird and I don't often make bird cards.

I used SSS's partridge in a pear tree die, it was a freebie a week or 10 days ago with a special code. I decided why not and picked up another stamp set I had been wanting.  I have to say it die cuts quite easily even out of mirror cardstock.

So 4 more done for my stash and 8 to go.

Thnaks so much for stopping by!

07-13-2023

 Hello-

I've been binging on television...Wimbledon in the mornings and early afternoons and then the WSOP Main Event poker tournament in the evenings until the wee hours.

I've got the tourney on now, up in my crafty space they are down to 25 from 10043 entrants.  So this will be a quick post. I die cut some blooms and did a bit of gluing while binging.

A die cut panel from a crafty friend...not sure who-in my cleaning and  organizing zeal I didn't think to add post it notes, but thank you just the same! The blooms are from MFT's newest card kit. The sentiment comes from Ellen Hutson.

I am adding this card to these galleries:

Triple B: July, We love Stamping, and Stamping Sensations...all calling for flowers.  And because the flower dies and the sentiment are new, NBUS.

Thanks much for visiting.

06-24-23-2

 Hello,

A two post day...

This card is visiting three challenges.

Triple B - June I chose Butterflies, Double D Challenges I made a blue monochromatic card, and for Tic Tac Toe I am using the far right column Die cut, bright color and CAS.

The die came with my Gemini machine, and I finally tried it out.  I used a premade cardbase and matching envie from Stampin up and then inked a handful of the cut butterflies to match. They then were placed in to the spaces with the wings fluffed. The larger got a pearl embellishment.  Reminds me of cards I might have made 5-6 years ago...but I love it.

 Thanks so much for visiting...again.

 Hello -

Hubs and I just got back from a week in Ohio visiting his folks.

I needed some card time after being away, and as I looked through the challenges this card came together.

I cut the Spellbinders Anemone die 3 times in black and 3 times in red.  I glued first the black outline die cuts then puzzle pieced in the red pieces and black flower centers. One left over red outline adorns the envelope flap.  The sentiment is from The Ton and adhered with foam tape.

I am entering it to the galleries at Tic Tac Toe -right column and Triple B May Challenge.

Thanks much for visiting.

 Hello-

I have a lattice card for you today.  My Stampin Up demo did a you tube tutorial on the process here, and its taken me quite a while to try making one.  I am using the Marigold Moments stamp set...I think the blooms also look a lot like carnations. Which prompted me to go with that lovely sky color in the mood board below.  I am submitting this to Triple B's April challenge.
