 Hello-

Its a warm day outside and hubs and I will shortly be going for a drive to enjoy it.  But first I wanted to share a card for a sweet young lady.

Thank you Darnell for the stamp set...its perfect for a young gal who likes fairies.  I winked the wings though it doesn't show up in the photo.

This sweet little fairy will be visiting Seize the Birthday with toppings of in the garden, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Spring or Easter.

Enjoy your day!

 Hello-

No challenges...just a man card.

I used some old SU patterned papers in green and blue. I like the sketchy feel of it...and it kinda carries through on my stamping which is a bit sketchy too. Lol.  I think it works.

I broke my Vagabond a while back, and replaced it with the gemini jr.  I have been a bit gun shy about using it for embossing folders however.  I'd been using my old spellbinders grand calibur for embossing. On a whim, I tried using my old texture boutique (little hand bag looking thing from sizzix and stampin up years ago) It worked a dream even on those thick 3d embossing folders...did you know you do not need to put a plate on both sides of those to emboss/run them through your die cutter? I used just the bottom plate with the folder on top.  Who knew.

So as long as I am using those that are not the 6x6 squares I've got a perfect solution. Just thought I'd share.

Thanks for stopping in.

 Hello-

I've spent a lot of time cleaning up floor piles in my crafty space. Seems I don't have enough room on my shelves ...  And I've been working on Easter cards.  So its been all work and no posting for a week.

I did manage to get out a floral bouquet stamp from The Greetery for a few cards. My favorite is the one on top.  Yes, the yellows and pinks which when blended look a bit orange make me happy.

Coordinating envelopes for them all. They were stamped. then heat embossed on bristol paper and colored with Arteza watercolor brush markers. Fortunately I also had the die so yay no fussy cutting. I found some backgrounds to mount the bouquets and I have a handful of cards.

I love a thinking of you sentiment because it can be personalized for any occasion on the inside.  These will be visiting Beautiful Blossoms and Inspired By challenges.

Thanks so much for visiting.

 Hello-

Can you handle a few more shamrocks? My last one, I think. Its going to visit Festive Friday and my elements are Luck, Green and Punny Sentiment.

This one might have been my favorite to put together. Using a punch was so much faster than dies.

Thanks much for visiting.

 Hello

Time for another calendar page. This one got an edit in 2023, I had only a shamrock embossing folder, and had cut out a rather pathetic shamrock to glue on. Fortunately, I got a new shamrock set from Stampin Up and then added new ones.  The calendar recipients have had three shamrocks mailed to them along with a photo, so they'll have a guide to update the page.

And, again the calendar file was graciously emailed with cutting instructions to me by Bonnie Klass.

Thanks for visiting.

 Hello-

More from my crafty face time.

Freshly Made Sketches and We Love Stamping galleries will be visited by this card.

I used a bit of a coverplate page cut out from The Greetery, popped in some pearls in the larger openings and then added my winter duo. The snowman is not holding up his side enough so its a bit crooked (at least thats my story! Ha!)  Some copic coloring, and the remainder of that back drop piece will decorate the envelope flap.  (I did flip the sketch to portrait...sometimes landscapes are hard for me to envision elements on.)

Have a fabulous day.

   Please share our challenge logo

Thanks much for stopping by.

 Happy Saturday...

I had  a lovely crafting time with Peggy via face time today.

I found my inspiration in two challenges. Simon Says -  Emboss it, and Fourseasons -February anything Winter.

I used Simons Refined Snowflakes EF, and die cuts from MFT -pierced fancy flourish, and IO Skates.  The skates had some surgery and rearranging to fit my vision, but they worked out nicely. The greeting is from Lawn Fawn heat embossed in white.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  No football tomorrow, so I'll probably be crafting again. Thanks for visiting.

 Hello-

Happy almost Valentine's Day.  I have a couple of cards to share today.  The stamp set from Stampin Up just grabbed me immediately with the adorable cats. There are three, and I have shown two of them here. The third may make a great anniversary card. We'll see.

The first is going to the galleries at Cupcake Inspirations and Inspired by Challenge.

I was inspired by the patterns on Cupcake Challenges, and chose a patterned paper to add color to my base card. The embossed white clouds were inspired by the white heart plates in the photo at Inspired by challenges.

My second card is visiting Tic Tac Toe.  I was inspired by the middle row Red, Free, Love sentiment.

Thanks so very much for visiting.
