05-24-23

 Hello -

Still at the crafty table.  There were three challenges that are calling for yellow - I could not pass up playing.

The yellow embossed panel was sent to me by Greta. I cut 3 white daisy stems to stack them. The sentiment is from MFT. I followed the color and sketch from Inspired By Challenge, The Floral component along with both heat and dry embossing from Can you Handle the Pressure, and yellow for Die Traumfabrik-Dream Factory .

02-13-23

 Hello-

Happy almost Valentine's Day.  I have a couple of cards to share today.  The stamp set from Stampin Up just grabbed me immediately with the adorable cats. There are three, and I have shown two of them here. The third may make a great anniversary card. We'll see.

The first is going to the galleries at Cupcake Inspirations and Inspired by Challenge.

I was inspired by the patterns on Cupcake Challenges, and chose a patterned paper to add color to my base card. The embossed white clouds were inspired by the white heart plates in the photo at Inspired by challenges.

My second card is visiting Tic Tac Toe.  I was inspired by the middle row Red, Free, Love sentiment.

Thanks so very much for visiting.

12-4-21

 Hello-

I am getting close to giddy...or insane. I have two cards left to make and then...I can just play or more likely take some time off and bake cookies and watch Hallmark Christmas movies.

I was inspired by two challenges to make these cards, Inspired By Challenge and Tic Tac Toe

I used the center column at Tic Tac Toe, and that soft blue/Aqua snowflake inspiration photo from Inspired by and came up with these three cards.  My favorite is the third card...probably the delicate snowflake that had one arm break off...but tucking it in solved that problem.

Thanks much for visiting.  Hopefully by Monday, all my cards will be in the mail. Today is booster shot day. Take care.

Halloween

Hey there -

With the new mail times, it seems Halloween cards should be going in the mail soon. Who knows how long delivery will take.  I've seen some crazy routing with packages from the USPS lately so who knows what is happening with first class mail.

I have a card for several challenges.

I've used DSP from Stampin UP and a new stamp from Pretty Pink Posh for the main image. The sentiment comes from Close to my Heart and a crimped circle die from The Greetery.  The images were colored with copics.

The challenges I am entering:

Inspired By Challenge, Double D Challenges, Watercooler Wednesday, and Challenge Up Your Life.

Thanks so very much for taking the time to visit.

Your Friendship

Hello-  Its a beautiful 79 degrees here today, the windows are open and I am having a wonderful day.

I sat down to play with Gina K's Spring Tulips, a recent gift.  I made 4 cards all the same but the colors and I'll be entering one to each of 4 challenges.  For Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I squished the card to a square. I am also entering at Addicted to Stamps,  Time Out Challenges and  Inspired by Challenges,

All were copic colored and had some gems added.

For Addicted to Stamps

For Freshly Made Sketches

For Time Out Challenges

For Inspired by Challenge

Thanks so very much for visiting, and I hope you're having a fab day too.

Cats

 Hi There -

Two recent challenges call for cats...and boy do I have a lot of cat stamps.  But for this one a recent die purchase is my choice for the challenge. These peeking cats from Simon Says Stamp are just fun.

I die cut them, added color with zigs and a bit of water brush. To add a bit of interest I used tiny gems for the eyes and noses. I think that brings out the curiosity in them.  No sentiment, this is just a note card.  I made a few for my stash.

It's going to visit Inspired By Challenge - Heart Your Cattitude, and Cupcake Inspirations - Cats.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Happy and Merry

 Hello-

A few more Christmas cards for a few challenges today.  This card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches and Inspired By Challenge.  When you see the challenge icons below I am sure you can see how this card came about.

I love some simple stamping and easy fussy cutting. It was a quick and fun card to make.

While those silly cute gnomes were still on my desk, one more go with some more traditional Christmas colors.

This one is going to  Less is More-One Layer Card, Festive.

Thanks for taking the time to visit during this busy time.

Treat yo self

Hello -

It's gonna be a scorcher here today, so I am spending the cool morning in my crafty space, then I'll spend the remainder of the day downstairs in the blissful cool...it might even motivate me to tackle a cabinet to reorganize it.

This summery  card is going to visit the galleries for Inspire by Challenge (colors), Watercooler Wednesday (Feminine Twist), and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Bright and Cheerful).

I'm loving the pinks and oranges for summer.  Now, if I could just find that popsicle.

Thanks for visiting, and stay cool!

Happy Easter

Hello-

My friend Peggy and I had another face time crafting date...and she had mailed me a cute Neat and Tangled Easter stamp set.

The design came to be as I stamped the image on two ends of a piece of watercolor card and the egg tops were too close together for me to cut them straight across...but what a great happy accident. I love  the angle of the focal panel.

I am submitting this card to If you give a Crafter a Cookie and Inspired by Challenge.

A little green

Hi There!

I was busy in February with an abundance of good things. You may have noticed several Guest Designing opportunities have come my way.  Some were for single posts and two were for month-long weekly postings.  I am the type of person that has to have her  "homework" done way ahead of time.  So, I kinda burned my self out with all the cards and haven't made anything other than a design opportunity card.

While I took some time off from creating, I got pulled into politics on television and in turn lately to the news of the Covid19 virus.  I wish all of you good health and good sense in dealing with this situation.

I've managed to pull myself  away from the television, and had some crafty time...well after I cleaned up the disaster the room was.  Today's St. Patrick's Day card is inspired by two challenges:
The Card Challenge (the shamrocks) and Inspired by (the green shades).

I added a couple of green alcohol inks to a small sheet of yupo.  Once dry I cut out the shamrocks using a paper smooches die.  I made a couple of cards, some with 3 shamrocks and some with just 1 shamrock above the sentiment.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Inspired Sketch

Hello-

Its rainy outside but not too cold. Its a day for soup, napping and of course card making.  Today I am sliding in at the last moments (sorry to the DT's) to two challenges -

Inspired By Challenges (Image below) and Case this Sketch (Sketch Below).  The  two came together for me once I found some xoxo patterned paper. It was a bit bold so I over-layed it with a piece of vellum and then piled my mum's on top. I think flowers are great for a Valentine, it doesn't always have to be hearts.

How are your Valentine's coming?  I've limited myself to 20 this year and I am getting close.

Thanks for visiting.

Thank you

Hello -

I'm still on a roll here with the cards.  This is the last one for the evening.

I am submitting this one to two challenges:

The Challenge - Shaped cards
Inspired by Challenge - Clusters

I used Ellen Hutson's Gebera Daisy and die cut it, along with a wonky rectangle to make this shaped card.  I colored the flower with karin makers after white heat embossing the image.  The sentiment comes from the same set.
