 Happy Saturday...

I had  a lovely crafting time with Peggy via face time today.  

I found my inspiration in two challenges. Simon Says -  Emboss it, and Fourseasons -February anything Winter. 

 

 I used Simons Refined Snowflakes EF, and die cuts from MFT -pierced fancy flourish, and IO Skates.  The skates had some surgery and rearranging to fit my vision, but they worked out nicely. The greeting is from Lawn Fawn heat embossed in white.

 

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  No football tomorrow, so I'll probably be crafting again. Thanks for visiting.

Penny Black January Cupcake Inspirations 438 Inspired by all the little things 78

Greetings --

I always struggle with my salutation...anyone else?

Today's card came together with the help of three challenges. The colors from Cupcake Inspirations #438 (Rose, Cream, Black); Penny Black Saturday Challenge for January -Anything Goes using Penny Black image; and Inspired by all the little things 78 Photo Inspiration.

My colors are from the cardstock with tone on tone embossing, the flower outline and the Copic on vellum coloring.  The flower image is from Penny Black's Delightful, I cut out only a small portion of the image once it was stamped and heat embossed. My card shape and the lattice clear embossing was inspired by the photo inspiration at Inspired by all the little things.

CAS on Friday 124 and Case this Sketch 255

Hi there,

It's Monday and here in my home that is Laundry day and a perfect time to make a few cards. 

CAS on Friday's challenge 124 is Love/Valentine's Day Card

After making my first card I made a second using the same stamp set, 

and followed the sketch from Case this Sketch 255.

Both cards are clean and simple so both will play at CAS on Friday, 

and the second card goes to Case this sketch as well.

 I love these colors, they take me back to my wedding day.

I loved the colors of distress ink Anita used on her inspiration card over at Muse. Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch,Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio. Yummy selection of colors.

I kinda inverted it.  In addition to her color choices, I was inspired by her round focal point and her curved sentiment.

Trend Week at Just us Girls 376

Hi there, I am slowly getting back into challenges.  I love the trend over at Just us Girls, it is all over stamping.  Sometimes I have no mojo for creating a scene and this is the perfect solution.

My card makes use of two SSS inks, Versamark and Gold embossing powder.  The stamp set is from Uniko for the background, the sentiment is from Altenew.

A lil note

of Thanks...it is the season of thank you notes.  I made up a set of 4 designs which I repeated that were quickly put together so that I could begin my thank you notes.  Today I hope to get them popped into the mail as we are expecting a light dusting of snow tomorrow...I'll just want to sit by the window and craft while looking out; so the errands must be done today.

I bought some $1 packes of notecards and envelopes at a big box craft store...and those note cards were really just a single cut of cardstock. No fold.  There were however 20 excellent envelopes.  I used the flats to die cut some speach bubbles, grabbed my gold foil 6x6 papers in my scrap stash along with some sheets of Kraft cardstock.   These are small note cards 3.5 by 4.25 inches.

A little difficult to photograph (sorry its so dark), but you get the idea.  Sentiments come from Stampin Up.
