Hello-
I had to play along and celebrate Freshly Made Sketches 700TH sketch. WOW.
Its a fun sketch. We went to the sunflower fields near by earlier this month and I have had sunflowers on the brain since then.
The sunflower die cut was a gift from a bloggy friend (Thanks TK). I inked it up, then went through my stack of paper samples from my SU demonstrator. They are often times 4.25x4.25 sized samples. So it worked. I am not sure of the name of the pattern, but it is several years old. I bought it and often use it for the back drops in my photos.
I am not on the design team nor have been, but I went back to see my first entry to the FMS Challenges...number 89 in 2013. I started card making in 2012... and as the old commercial said "You've come a long way..."
A very literal take on the sketch. It would take me years to start thinking of the shapes as placeholders.
- Dies: SSS Beautiful Sunflower Blosssom
- Inks: Altenew Maple Yellow, Honey Drizzle, Milk Chocolate, versamark
- Papers: Hammermill. SU patterned paper scraps, SSS Chocolate Chip
- Stamp: The Ton Easy Expressions
- Embellishment: SU Bumblebee Trinket
Thanks so much for stopping by and CONGRATULATIONS to the FMS team reaching this fabulous 700th sketch milestone. May there be many many many more to come.
P.S. a peek at our outing:

Just love the jumbo sunflower with the quartet of woodblocks behind it, Cat! Fun to look back on our past cards, isn't it? I do that on my Flickr site from time to time :)
I don't know what I love more your pretty sunflower card or the photos of the real deal! Oh heck, I love them all!
