 Hey there-

Today I have a quick card for you.  I had some new goodies so I figured I'd play with them before they got filed. I have to be better at using my new stuff before it becomes dust collecting NBUS.

This is a double stamping set from SU. I am sending it to AAA Cards, CAS card with the option of making the sentiment focus.  Since its new, it'll go over to Darnell's NBUS challenge as well.

 Hello,

Its a bit drippy here today after lots of bright sunny warm days in a row. Fortunately I LOVE the rain.

This card is going to AAA Card Challenge, with the option of anniversary.

Colored with pencils, this wreath was a stamp off gift from my friend Peggy. I added the foiled sentiment from Spellbinders. A quick card in the brides favorite colors.

Thanks for stopping by.

 Hello-

Hubs and I had a mini Valentine celebration on Friday when we learned our delivery was delayed until Monday.  Which meant that we'd be working Monday through the evening. So we are celebrating with dinner and our card and chocolate exchange tonight.

I thought I'd make hubs a second Valentine, this one more romantic than silly as my smooching gnomes were.  There are a couple of challenges that helped inspired me for this card: AAA Cards, and Tic Tac Toc Challenge.   For AAA Cards its Black and White plus 1 color - I chose red.  For Tic Tac Toe I chose the left column red, heart, sentiment.

I hope you all had days filled with love.  Thanks for stopping by.

PS-A little collage of our outing to Solomons Island. I love the water and hanging out on the boardwalk was a perfect respite from cabin fever.  We started the drive with a stop at Dairy Queen for a shared strawberry sundae and ended it with a lovely sunset over the river.

Awesome Day

 Hello-

I am back from my break.  We visited Vic's folks for his Dad's birthday, and I took a few extra days to both get ready for the trip and recuperate afterwards.  For likely the first time, we came home to a clean house in the sense that it didn't look like we had packed frantically at the last minute leaving a tornado like debris field in our wake.

It was lovely returning to an orderly home, and I think I will keep that in mind for the future.

I haven't crafted in quite awhile, and the easiest way for me to get back to it is to play in challenges.

Three challenges inspired this card. AAA Card Game, Time Out Challenges, and Watercooler Wednesday.

Thank you so much for visiting, and I will be back to commenting on your creations tomorrow.  Its overwhelming to comment on all those I missed while I took my break, so I am starting tomorrow anew.

Christmas

 Hello -

I am woefully behind on Christmas cards, considering I wanted to make 5 each month.  Based on that count I am back in March...so with several Christmas challenges to play with this week, I am going to add to my small pile.

Five cards for five challenges. Each card goes to visit only one challenge.  In alpha order:

AAA Cards - Twinchie with option of Christmas

Addicted to CAS - Christmas

CAS Christmas- Poinsettia

Christmas Kickstart

Less is More - Christmas in July

And one more that I decided was not CAS and didn't fit any of the challenges.

Thanks so much for visiting.

DOX playtime

 Hello-

I spent some time playing with Abandoned  Coral, Wild Honey and Kitch Flamingo after seeing the mood board at Challenge up Your life.  I made two cards which will visit CUYL and CAS on Friday and AAA Cards as well.

After inking up a panel with the three colors in random parts, I die cut SSS leaf die to mount along the edge with a Thank you sentiment. This card will go to Challenge Up Your Life and AAA Cards.

In the left over bits  of the inked panel, I stamped and cut out the envelopes for the
Happy Mail challenge at CAS on Friday using another old Simon's stamp set.

Thanks so very much for visiting.  For those observing, Happy Easter.

Autumn

 Hello-

Tonight after watching football, I sat down to make a card which turned into two cards for two challenges each.

My first card was inspired by the Inky Paws Challenge (Colors) and AAA Cards (Design).

Newton is cozy in his pile of yellow, orange and purple leaves. There is also a halo of yellow inking around the image. The black sentiment is part of the set Newtons Autumn.

--------

My second card was inspired by Double D Challenges and Stamping Sensations.  The challenge at Double D is wreath and Stamping Sensations is Autumn Glory.

This wreath by Pretty Pink Posh is full of autumnal leaves, acorns, mushrooms and berries.

Thanks for visiting!

Warm Wishes

 Hello-

Temps are coming down here.  Nights are cold enough to grab a couple of blankets and days have me considering finding my 3/4 length sleeves.  The tanks are about to be packed away and the short sleeves are likely to be paired with cardigans.  I love a good cardigan. I always have.

Today's card is for AAA Cards.  I pulled out a new to me set from CTMH--Reindeer Crossing. I won it last year and it never made the holiday rotation.

I started with a corner and some inking in tumbled glass, then the deer and the sentiment were heat embossed on top in silver.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Christmas in July

Hello -

How are all of you doing on getting a stash of Christmas cards finished?  I had set a goal of 5 per month.  I am woefully behind until today.  I usually make 5 cards of half of my designs, and the other half are generall one offs. I have 15 in my stash, and after today there will be 25....so only 10 down.  Easy to catch up in the next few months.

I have two cards for you today and I'll be entering them to 6 challenges.  Three challenges for each card.

First up, for CAS Christmas (Nativity), Die Cut Diva's (Christmas in July) and AAA Cards - ( Made in Minutes with the optional twist of Christmas in July) I made this card:

The die cutting was very fast, the sentiment stamping was quick too.  I added a bit of extra to it by dipping the diecut in clear embossing powder to give it a bit of gloss and clear embossing the black stamped sentiment.  The card base is Pacific Point from SU, the Die is from Penny Black, and the sentiment is from MFT.

My next card is for Just us Girls (Trend Week Long and Skinny),  Shopping our Stash (Christmas in July) and Christmas Kickstart (Hatty Christmas).

The slimline dies are from Trinity Stamps, the sentiment from MFT, and the hats from Tim Holtz Crazy things.  It was fun immersing my self in Christmas cards for a short afternoon session.  Thanks so very much for visiting.
