As soon as I saw the colors at Color Throwdown I knew I would be playing along. A chance to use yellow - you know I am in on that.
I didn't want to haul out my flower stamps just yet - I have such cute winter images that need some inking and once I start with the flowers...well it might be fall before I stop.
As a way around that...My friend Greta sent me two stamped images on watercolor paper, and I happily played with them this afternoon. I made one for the challenge and one just to play.
Both were colored with Artesia watercolor markers. Sentiments are from PTI.

gorgeous coloring - both cards are so pretty, Cat!
Lovely take on the throwdown colors! Thanks for joining us in the challenge!
Oh wow--I better stamp that image for me to color--haha! Seeing what you've done makes me so glad I got that IO stamp! Love both versions, but as you know I'm partial to the pink! Your coloring is beautiful, Cat!
Beautiful, Cat! I love the flowers, even though those winter images are appropriate now. Great coloring!
Such lovely blooms, Cat ... and fabulous colouring! That first one in particular has so much depth, it looks as though it's popping off the card ... gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
Yes, you and yellow? a perfect match! Isn't it sweet for Greta to send those... just add water, and color is a very fun way to spend your time with no stamps to clean up!
You've done so beautifully, Cat...
