Envelope of Thanks

Hello -

I'm back on vampire time...so this time instead of binge watching tv, I cleaned up my space and organized my out of control die collection.  Nothing like a clean organized space to invite the creative process; at least for me.

We had quite a deluge of rain this morning...but it was after I went to sleep. Thankfully hubs woke up and closed the windows.  I saw on the news our area got the a month's worth (July average) of rain in 3 hours.  I also saw some flooded areas in our town.  Hubs mentioned seeing rivers of water running down our street, thankfully we are on higher ground.

So on to the card, it was inspired by these challenges:

CAS on Friday,  Penny Black and More Challenge and Time Out Challenges

Stamp - Bunches for You, Copic Coloring, Die Penny Black Elegant stitching.  My trick for nice sharp outlines is to color my image while it its in my mini misti, so then I can just stamp it again after coloring .

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Gosh what a good idea to colour when in the mist, a new idea to me! And love the CAS design but with the flowers popping out so more of the card is covered but still in a CAS design. Wonderful colouring and great to see you at Time Out

It is always cathartic to have a tidy up. I love your flower envelope, lovely colours. Thanks for the reminder about crisp lines. I have used that trick before but it is funny how you forget things! xx

We had a huge dunking here, too, Cat - and a basement full of water from it! Fortunately it all went down the drain, but holy cow, that was alot of water!

This little bouquet in an envelope is so charming! Thanks for the tip about overstamping after coloring - great idea!

So pretty, Cat ... both the envelope full of blooms and that dainty stitching around the panel! I too find it's good to do a bit of tidying up ... definitely gives a boost to my creative process! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)

I just adore that image - and I love how you coloured it with that bright yellow so the blooms just pop off the card front! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill
