I was surprised when I just peeked out the window and it was snowing. Its the little bitty snow not the fabulous big fat fluffy flake snow. Still I thought we were just getting rain today.
Two challenges for this card - Freshly Made Sketches and Seize the Birthday with topping of Make Us Laugh.
On to my card. I pulled out an older stamp set from Clearly Besotted - Cheeky Monkey. After stamping, and extending the vine, I added the monkeys, and colored all with copics. I then added a very soft wash of green inking over the interior of the card panel just to give it a bit more of a jungle feel. I added the sentiment and then adhered it to the card base. It is going to go to another of my BIL's. I am trying very hard to get all my birthday cards for the year made by mid summer.
I have a perfectly sized box from Target that has a lid and holds the cards in the landscape positon inside envelopes. For the birthday section I have dividers for the quarters of the year and then the cards are in date order and a post it note separates the future months. I address them, but leave the stamp off so I can write the birthdate so I'll remember to mail them timely. I put a "Celebrate"stamp on the cards just prior to mailing. I am in this box almost everyday so its rare that I miss a birthday.

So cute and fun, Cat ... great colouring on that trio of little monkeys ... what a fabulous take on the sketch! Sorry I've not been around ... we've had no internet for almost a week (eek!) ... so now I'm playing catch up ... so much fun to see all your inspiration in one hit (I especially loved the stained glass cards)! Very cute monkeys, the wash of green is great. I like your birthday box idea. I used to have a birthday binder with pockets, but I cannot find it and cannot find any product like it either! I’ll think about your box idea.
