A Man Card

Hello ~

Another card from the nights crafting session.  I tend to stick to green, brown, and blue on the man cards.  This is no exception.  I used Altenew's Leaf Canopy stamps and Winnie and Walter's Happy cut away.

After stamping and die cutting the large leaf image, I stamped several of the smaller leaf images on to some oatmeal cardstock.  Next I cut out the Happy from the card front using W & W Happy cut away. I cut it several more times to make a stacked die cut.  I added the small stamped Birthday on top of the layered die.

I am entering this card to The Male Room Challenge and to Winnie and Walters 5th Birthday Bash. The Male Room challenge is anything goes with the option of using no designer papers.  I made my own background using the smaller of the leaf images, and stamped and die cut the larger image. For W&W the happy was cut several times and stacked.

Thanks for stopping by.

I see you’ve been busy! I love how you stamped the background in the same leaf. Great male card!

Fabulous! Cat I love the subtle over-all stamping on your card base - I'll be 'borrowing' that idea!

That's a great idea to stamp the leaves on the background like that. I also like the effect of the oatmeal card xx

Bravo! Love the subtle leaf backdrop, the hidden sentiment and your use of the tiny sentiment on top! Great look, Cat!
