Hello

Hello~

Sneaking in towards the end of this challenge for CASE this Sketch.   I really went literal with my card.

I die cut a bunch of flowers using dies from MFT's Stitch Blossoms.  I went with a light and dark for several shades.  After putting the flowers together, I had some left over centers.  I thought they'd make great colorful dots for this sketch along with some of the smaller blooms.

Scarborough Fair

Hello,

I have the perfect stamp set for the challenge at Inspired by Challenge - Herbs, and when I put it together on my card, I thought it would also work as an entry for Double D Challenges-Let's make Music.

I have a friend who grows her herbs for cooking on her window ledge, this will make a good note card for her just to let her know I am thinking of her.

What do you think?  Music and Herbs? Scarborough Fair is a lovely song, so I have no guilt leaving you with the earworm. Have a wonderful day.

Go Bananas

Hey there Happy Friday.

I was surprised when I just peeked out the window and it was snowing. Its the little bitty snow not the fabulous big fat fluffy flake snow. Still I thought we were just getting rain today.

Two challenges for this card - Freshly Made Sketches and Seize the Birthday with topping of Make Us Laugh.

On to my card. I pulled out an older stamp set from Clearly Besotted - Cheeky Monkey.  After stamping, and extending the vine, I added the monkeys, and colored all with copics.  I then added a very soft wash of green inking over the interior of the card panel just to give it a bit more of a jungle feel.  I added the sentiment and then adhered it to the card base.  It is going to go to another of my BIL's. I am trying very hard to get all my birthday cards for the year made by mid summer.

I have a perfectly sized box from Target that has a lid and holds the cards in the landscape positon inside envelopes.  For the birthday section I have dividers for the quarters of the year and then the cards are in date order and a post it note separates the future months.  I address them, but leave the stamp off so I can write the birthdate so I'll remember to mail them timely.  I put a "Celebrate"stamp on the cards just prior to mailing.  I am in this box almost everyday so its rare that I miss a birthday.

A Friend

Hi~

Another card this afternoon.  This one is going to Time Out Challenges and another entry for Addicted to Stamps and More.

I think the sentiment on this one points towards uniqueness.

Happy Christmas

Hello ~

I've been mojo less the last couple of days...but on the bright side my sleep schedule seems to be moving more towards normal.  Last night I actually slept from 10:30 to 4:30 this morning.  That is progress.  My ideal would be 12-6:30 with a 90 minute afternoon nap.

Today I played with three challenges:  Christmas Kickstart, Color Throwdown and Addicted to Stamps and More.

Just a bit of coloring and some die cutting.  I love this guy peeking out the window of the card. His expression is hilarious to me.
