Another bit of time stolen away in the craft room. Another new item, a spellbinders embossing and cutting folder.
First I have to say I am glad cardstock has two sides. I do not like to toss out pieces that don't go as planned. And this one did not. I colored the blooms and then somehow got a spluge on one of the blooms...I was just using a brush with ink and kinda swirling on the raised parts. So I turned it over and went at it again. I kinda liked how it turned out so I popped it on a green card base, found some linen thread to create a line for my gold foiled sentiment strip. I added pearls to two of the colored flowers and itsy bitsy ones to each of the tiny flowers that have no color.
The card is visiting Tic Tac Toe with the left to right diagonal friendship, free, embossing, and Triple B July. I do love that center panel.

Oh I love this, so pretty. I am glad you didn't give up with it when you got the ink splodge as it works just as well this way round. I don't out any cut and emboss folder - yet! I love the green base too xx

Wait... I haven't seen this folder and now I'm going to have to go look it up. I love their cut and emboss folders, and this one is simply gorgeous! Gee, the debossed side might even be prettier. This is a fabulously CASEable card, Cat. I'm smitten!
This is such a cool card. It has never occurred to me to color the sunken portions, but it's clearly a way to go as your results show.

This card is BEAUTIFUL! LOVE everything about it from the beautifully coloured debossed blooms, to the cut away at the bottom and that pop of gorgeous green, to the string with the sentiment and lots of which space. It's perfect! xx

I totally agree about the 2 sides of cardstock! I expect to end of wasting some of my plain white, but recently had problems with 2 panels of Bristol--ugh! The other side of one has already been used. Absolutely love the look of this card, my friend! Wonderful design and sweet florals!
