Season's Greetings

I did a  bad thing, I bought this stamp purely for the pine branch and pine cones. One should not do that...I can't  think of a thing to do with the holly branch, I even googled...no inspiration.  But I do love the pine branch. The stamp set is an exclusive from Simon Says Stamp with Clearly Besotted.  It was part of their Stamptember release. I used Leaf Green and Lipstick red Simon inks for the first card, and Hero Arts Field Greens and Cup O Joe for the second and third cards. I also used versa mark for embossing the sentiments.

I tried with this one, added some red stickles to the stamped berries...

I love this stamp, the pine cones are separate from the branch and come as a single and as a cluster of two.

This one is the favorite of the three for hubs, I am not sure why...must be a balance thing. He is a Libra.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I think they are all fantastic, and I like what you did with the holly branch too!

Great designs Cat! I would think that both of these would be a good frame around an oval die cut. :)

I think all 3 cards are really beautiful, Cat! Great choice of colors and fab designs! I'm with hubby though, the last one is my fave!

I love the pine branch, too, but I stuck to my 50% rule - can't buy a set unless you like at least half the images. I think I've broken that rule only once or twice, but I have broken it, so you're good. :)

All three cards are beautiful, but I agree with Hubs on the last one.

I like all of them Cat! But I can see why you bought it for the pine branch and the pine cones, they are beautiful.

I like all of these, Cat! I have that set on my wishlist, in fact. Hubby has a great eye--that last one is wonderful!

I think they are all gorgeous, Cat, but I do agree that I like the third one the best! I, too, love pine and pine cones. I think I like the third one because the pine branch is coming down from the top.

Why don't you try doing the holly branch coming down in the same direction? Just a thought. Or stamp it twice so there are four branches. It seems too thin, but that might be because I have a Penny Black holly branch that I love and used last year on my CCs and it is full, more like a shrub. Hugs, Darnell
