Hi there-

Some time spent on my list of needed cards before tackling the laundry that needs folding and watching Football later on today.

I have two cards:

This one uses DSP from stampin up along with the darling image from MFT's Beary Best Friends and their stitched circle dies.  A bit of coloring with Copic marker was done on the image after some masking and stamping. This is for MFT's Sketch Challenge.

I needed a card for one of our nephews who bought  his first home.  I've been a bit lax getting this together, so it'll probably be quite a happy surprise since it'll be holding a gift card. This is going to Simply Clean and Simple.

Now the fun has been had, I am off to folding a couple of hampers of towels.

Have a lovely weekend, and if you're in the Northern Hemisphere...stay warm and dry. Thanks for visiting.

Hello-

This card is inspired by the sketch at MFT and the grid's center column at Tic Tac Toe.  Its a clean and simple card so it will also make a visit to Challenge up your Life

The stamps are from MFT -Festive Fireworks and Bitty Birthday Wishes heat embossed in gold. A small gold gem is added to the center of each firework burst.

Thanks for visiting.

On a personal note...

I am making the best of my weird sleep cycle as it seems this will be a long one. Its been going on for weeks this time.  I've managed a little routine. I wake between 3-4 pm, then it takes about an hour for me to feel with it...I make dinner for hubs and myself...fortunately I have never been a breakfast food fan when I first wake.

Then after the cleaning up, its up to the crafty space and perhaps 1 load of laundry.  I am trying to do 1 load a day or every other day instead of letting it pile up for a marathon 2 days of washing and folding.  Our next meal is something light...maybe a wrap or a sandwich or a small frozen meal.  Then hubs is off to bed around 2-3 am and I am up til 7 or 8 or when I am finally sleepy.

Wish Big

Hello -

Did everyone survive the 4th?  In our neighborhood it sounded like we were in a war zone. So many people had fireworks.  Not small ones either, the big booming ones.  I just feel bad for all the animals that have anxiety.  Hopefully they are done now.  They've been going off for a bout 10 days now, but last night was by far the longest and loudest.

I finally got my crafty space cleaned up some...aka the vacuuming was done; seems to make the room feel clean when I am without small bits of paper all over the floor.

I am playing along at MFT today - with both their color and sketch challenge. I love the odd bit of botanical whimsy and I thought the colors would work well. MFT stamps are Bitty Birthday Wishes and Wild Flowers. I used the pinks and yellow on the baubles and colored over the stem with a dark green copic to incorporate all the colors.

Thanks much for visiting.

Play Time

Hi There -

Its been a week of work for hubs and today I finally get to play!  I need lots of birthday cards.  My Stash is empty save for the one end of January card that will be mailed Monday.

I'll be entering this card to four challenges - MFT Sketch Challenge, Color Throwdown, Seize the Birthday, (no toppings) and Casology.   Looking at all these challenges a more masculine card came to mind, though I use polka dots and a scripty sentimnet.

I'm considering that big scripty sentiment my circular element for MFT Sketches.  The stamp set is SMile from MFT. My inks is Hero Arts Navy.

What do you think? Did I pull off a masculine feel, despite the polka dots and scripty sentiment?
