Face Time Crafting

Hello-

Peggy and I spent 3.5 hours on facetime today, crafting...specifically coloring for me...die-cutting and coloring for Peggy.

We have a good rapport having crafted together in person for several years.  So I am happy that it's close to normal doing it via face time...we both miss the hugs and the swapped baked goods...but it is the time together that counts.

I finally made my June calendar page...I'm so glad I added the white dots...it was meh before that little addition. Now I like it.

The stamp is a petuna sprig from IO. #L16429  I think it is going to go live with Peggy. I did not have fun coloring it.  It might have been the colors I chose...the orientation I stamped it...who knows. In anycase, it'll get more love in Maine.

The rest of the cards I made today are for challenges, they are thank you's to retailers who have gone the extra mile for me...be it with an extra stamp, an overnighted catalog, making a price correction in my favor, or sending along a prize pack.

The Card Concept - My clean and simple card was inspired by the lei of yellow blooms along the edge of the table.

that's so great that you and Peggy craft on FT - and the white gel dots really do make the purple flowers pop - I always seem to forget whtie dots and how effective they are - all great cards!

YAY for facetime crafting with friends! I so enjoy my Tuesday night ZOOM meetings and stamping with friends...does the soul good!! Your cards and calendar page are all awesome Cat, and there's nothing "meh" about those lovely purple petunias on your calendar page! Some day I'm going to figure out how to print those calendar pages and do my own stamping on them too! Have a great weekend my friend!! Hugs. :0)

It's obvious you two have so much fun crafting - for real, or via FaceTime! I don't think I'm even this productive when I'm lucky enough to craft with a friend for real, Cat!!
All darling, but I think you're wrong about that stamp - maybe stamp it a few times before you send it to Maine?

You were BUSY! Love all the cards. I see you tried that Jennifer McGuire on the edge technique. I don't recognize that flower, but there are so many. I'd guess it might be a Altenew. It looks wonderful. Stay safe.

Glad you enjoyed your online crafting session. Three gorgeous cards, the yellow ones are my favourite and you are right the white dots make all the difference to your calendar. I have just seen that you have signed up behind on this months CCC I am so excited at the prospect of receiving another one of your lovely cards. Haven't made mine yet, must get on with it xx

Wow, you sure got a lot of cards made! That is fun that you were able to FaceTime craft. I did that once but I think I talked more than crafting! I especially like that cute octopus. Have a good weekend!

Your calendar page is beautiful even if you didn't enjoy the coloring! Love the row of yellow blooms down the side of the first card!

Your cards represent all the things I love in stamps -- flowers, critters, the great outdoors. You may not have had fun coloring the first one, but it turned out beautiful. Peggy will love having the stamp, though. I think you know how I love yellow. Sheesh, I've seen this inspiration photo several times and I never even noticed the lei. I really love your underwater card. It makes me smile! The shading is perfect! I'm glad you had a good time!

So many beautiful cards, but what I love most is your last card. It reminds me of our walks on the lake.

So pleased you're able to get together virtually to craft, Cat ... even without goodies and hugs, it must be lovely! Talking of lovely ... what a fabulous calendar page and trio of cards ... they're all gorgeous! I especially enjoyed that little octopus (or is it a jellyfish?) ... sooo cute! Hugs, Anita :)

What a wonderful and lovely post filled with the most beautiful cards. I love them all. The card for The Male Room's challenge is so lovely. I love how clean and simple it is while still being filled with details. The subtle hint of blue for the water just gives the card the last bit of beauty. Thank you for joining our "Landscape" challenge at The Male Room.
