Happy Christmas

Hello -

I'm deep into vampire hours which means, I don't sleep when I should. Hubs thinks my circadian rhythms are on a 25-26 hour cycle instead of the normal 24 so every month or so, I have a few weeks of sleeping during daytime hours. Tonight its been 1 am to 3:30, so far.  But I got a few cards made and made progress on my sewing project.  Breakfast next, and then maybe some sleep.

On to the cards:

These are very quick cards to make.  Die cutting makes quick work of a card.  I also love the look of heat embossing and for me that goes fairly quickly as well.

This card goes to a friend who love snow.  If not for Christmas, she'll have a bit in her hand when she opens the card. Both dies are from SSS.

I made the green one first and thought it might look good in red too.  The die is from MFT as is the sentiment. The frames are drawn with and embossing pen and then heat embossed.  All three cards
took less than a half hour to make.

They'll be visiting the galleries at Perfectly Cas and AAA Cards.

Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful cards. Heat embossing looks so good as a print.

3 great simple cards. I particularly like the Christmas tree ones. I must think to use dies as stencils more often as the results can be stunning as you so ably demonstrate xx

Just love all three cards, Cat - you're so productive in sleep deprivation mode! Especially love the snowflake with the sentiment atop and what a pretty gold for your trees!!

Beautiful! I have the tree die--need to use it, so I'm pinning yours for inspiration!

Hi, I was going to ask you how you got those lines on your cards because I love that look! So you drew them with an embossing pen? Did you use a ruler? I would have to use a ruler... and will try this if my "pen" hasn't dried up. I don't think I have hardly used it since I bought it. Thanks for the inspiration, Cat.

Beautiful Christmas cards, Cat! How nice that they were so quick and easy, too...way to go!
I have crazy sleep-wake cycles, too...I love creating in the wee early hours, but hate that I can't seem to sleep in the daytime and it makes me cranky. Can't have it all, right?

Terrific cards! Best wishes for some restful evenings ahead.

One thing about being up when the rest of the house is asleep is that you can get some crafting done. I hope your sleep straightens out soon. I'll sometimes lie awake into the wee hours, but too tired to craft, sigh. You always have the most wonderful CAS cards, Cat. Both colors look great with the gold trees.

A trio of gorgeous cards, Cat...and made all the more impressive in that you completed them in 1/2 an hour! I rarely get one made in that time span, let along three! Thrilled to see you in the Perfectly CAS gallery!
Hope your sleeping pattern has rearranged itself. I have sleep issues, too, but my awake times aren't productive at all!
