The crafty gals get together on Tuesday's at our hostess's (Sally) home. She had a nice space that fits 8 well complete with padded chairs and lamps. There is always laughter and companionship. We don't all craft the same things, but we do keep our hands busy. There is usually an exchange of a little something at the holidays.
Earlier this year my friend Peggy moved to Maine. In her cleaning out stuff, she gifted me (for the purpose of me gifting to the crafty gals to make my December a bit less hectic) crocheted angel dish cloths. I looked all over the web for a pattern, but couldn't find the same exact style.
So all I had to do was make some tags, add the little poem and attach it to the cloth with a ribbon. I used a Taylored Expressions stamp set for the tags, they were cut from 110lb paper with one of the stitched circle dies from MFT then colored with copics.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Oh these are so adorable, Cat - your friends will be delighted with them and love that little poem.
That's a lovely gift. My mother used to make dish cloths too, but they were just square. Now I treasure the few I still have left since she has been gone for years. We are lucky when we have such good friends in our lives.
One gift given, becomes a gifting giver! Lovely dishcloths, but your tag and poem inside is equally wonderful
Cat your friend Peggy really was the best … add your sweet little tags, and poem, and I'll bet the crafty girls were so pleased with your gift!
I'll bet you gals have already planned for 2020 - happy crafty New Year to you all!

What a great friend she must be. Sometimes it can seem like a bit of a burden when things have to be homemade, especially at Christmas. The tags in themselves will have taken time to create, they are gorgeous. What a lovely gift for your crafty friends xx
What a wonderful friend to give you the darling dishcloth angels to use for the crafty gals! Love your cute tags!
Absolutely adorable!
