 Hello-

It's stopped snowing here. We got a few inches, not a lot but enough to make it look clean and white outside.

The snow and a couple of challenges inspired these cards:

This cutie is going to the gallery at CAS on Friday where the brief is winter.  I hope the swirlies and drifts don't bump this out of being CAS.

My next card took a small liberty with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, but I think one can still see the sketch in the card. I flipped it on its side.

For your blog

Here is my favorite blink out the south downstairs window this weekend:

Thanks for coming by to visit!

Doesn't snow look amazing when it first falls? That's the only good thing about it though. Hope you are able to stay warm and cosy inside. Both cards are perfect for your wintry weather and the first one is still CAS in my book, but I suppose that's not the one that matters! xx

Oh, I love the swirlies and drifts on your first card! The kids on both are darling and sweet, and I can totally see the sketch on your second card. It looks like creative thinking to me, and so pretty with all the snowflakes. The snow outside your window is just the right amount!

Your snowy view looks just like ours except we got almost 30" last week and as pretty as it is, I'm ready for it to go and be Spring! Hah...don't think my wish is going to come true for awhile!! Hugs. :0)

Hi Cat! Pure Innocence images are always so sweet. Love the first card with that adorable penguin. The embossing gives so much movement to the card ... it looks like a snowstorm. And LOVE the heat embossed snowflakes in the sky for your second card. The trees always look so pretty with fresh snow on the branches. Stay warm and safe. xx

Two terrific winter-themed cards. The backgrounds on both work well with the focal items.

Adorable -- love the little girl images, and you've made them both right at home! I also love your snow scene out the window too!

Our weather here has been layers of ice, an inch of snow, layers of ice, 4 inches of snow and another layer of ice -- the only time it looks nice is at night with the lights gleaming across the shiny top... Everything is starting to melt so it looks pretty grungy -- I hate that part of snow!

Beautiful cards, Cat! New snow looks wonderful, doesn't it. I live on the outskirts of a city and it very quickly becomes brown and slushy and horrible. Happy New Year, hun, Jo x
