 Hello-

Monday is laundry day around here, so its a perfect time to make a card and do some organizing in the crafty space.

Green and Copper are the colors at Color Hues.  I knew I had what I feel is the perfect set for these colors. The large vase from Stampin Up's Earthen Textures, stamped and then embossed with rangers copper embossing powder took care of one color. SU's evening evergreen ink was perfect for the greenery, its a lovely deep green.

Thanks so much for visiting.

 Hello-

It's stopped snowing here. We got a few inches, not a lot but enough to make it look clean and white outside.

The snow and a couple of challenges inspired these cards:

This cutie is going to the gallery at CAS on Friday where the brief is winter.  I hope the swirlies and drifts don't bump this out of being CAS.

My next card took a small liberty with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, but I think one can still see the sketch in the card. I flipped it on its side.

For your blog

Here is my favorite blink out the south downstairs window this weekend:

 Greetings -

The challenge at Seize the Birthday is wet or dry embossing. Had I thought it out a bit more I could have done both, but I like the way this turned out.

The back panel is an SU embossing folder (tree rings), and the stamps are SU (in the meadow) as well.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi there-

Some time spent on my list of needed cards before tackling the laundry that needs folding and watching Football later on today.

I have two cards:

This one uses DSP from stampin up along with the darling image from MFT's Beary Best Friends and their stitched circle dies.  A bit of coloring with Copic marker was done on the image after some masking and stamping. This is for MFT's Sketch Challenge.

I needed a card for one of our nephews who bought  his first home.  I've been a bit lax getting this together, so it'll probably be quite a happy surprise since it'll be holding a gift card. This is going to Simply Clean and Simple.

Now the fun has been had, I am off to folding a couple of hampers of towels.

Have a lovely weekend, and if you're in the Northern Hemisphere...stay warm and dry. Thanks for visiting.

Hi again!  I am back with a second card, which I put together very quickly.  The embossed panel is from Honey Bee - Snowy Pines, and the die with shadow is from Simon Says Stamp.

The team of Diane and Darlene have a slew of blogs and I had to make something quick for Can you handle the pressure...and I think it also fits for Word Power (their newest challenge all about the sentiment) and Peace on Earth...might as well start those cards for next Christmas.

 Hello-

I am so happy to have spent some more time in my crafty spot...and along with some organizing a card got made.  I dug through my bin of new stuff and pulled out two items and found MFT's Spectacular Birthday and Paper Trey Ink's Night Sky coverplate.

The die was cut from navy card stock and adhered to a white card base after I inked up the center space with some tumbled glass. The pup was stamped, colored with copics and die cut to be placed on top of a shadow die cut (MFT). The sentiment is part of the Spectacular Birthday set.  I couldn't help my self from adding a few gems.

I'll be sending this card to Time Out and We Love Stamping.  Both are calling for something NEW.

So happily two items out of my bin of new stuff.  Thanks for stopping by.

 Hi There -

I am back at it in my craft room, playing with some new stamps, stencils and dies. I am still working through the thank you's I need.

These sweet snowmen are visiting Inspired By Challenge, and Fourseasons - Winter Season.

Some of you might recognize, that I picked up Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Die bundle which has a lot of good stuff. The sentiment is part of a Stampin Up paper pumpkin set I think...it was randomly included in a gift.

I kept the postage stamp collage stencils, dies and stamps out to play along with Color Hues #78 and a new Challenge in blogland called Word Power  hosted by Darlene and Dianne. The challenge calls for the sentiment to take center stage. They now have a line up of NINE challenges.

 Hello Friends,

Colorful Options grabbed my eye as I was searching for some ideas for post Christmas thank you cards. I usually have them made up way ahead of time, but this year I am behind already...lol.  No worries.  One look at the colors and an idea blossomed.

I wanted to stick with a winter theme because its a seasonal thank you, but I couldn't resist making those lagoon colors (green blues pink) into something for a cooler season.

The stamps and die cuts are from the Greetery, Inks by Altenew, and the circle panel is a Pink Fresh diecut. There is also a pink gemstone from Stampin Up in the center of the flower.

I am also submitting this to If you give a Crafter a Cookie...theme is winter wishes and this is definitely a winter wish thank you.

On a personal note, I have been taking quite a bit of time from this hobby I love but have lost a lot of mojo for over the last few years. My posts have been significantly less frequent than they were pre-pandemic. The pandemic changed me, I felt less like being out in the world for the last three years.

A few months ago I started to come out of hibernation; Hubs and I got on an airplane--that was huge for me--so many people trapped all together in a flying tin can for hours. But the trip to see family was so very worth it.  Starting with that trip Hubs and I have actually gone into restaurants for a meal and stayed there to eat several times in the last 4 months.  I still have my mask in my hand bag at all times so if I feel I need it, its close by.

Life is starting to feel more normal again.  I am hoping this translates to feeling more creative.

I do want to thank you all for your visits, cards and emails throughout the year and I can't wait to see the lovely projects you all post.
