Hey there -
I admit to having been caught up in the Olympics. So not a whole lot of cardmaking has been going on. Today is a mild softly raining day, and its perfect for cardmaking along with a bit of binge watching of MI-5, a British spy drama.
I used copics for image coloring and inks for the blended background. This is visiting both Addicted to Stamps and More - Make your Mark and Stamping Sensations - Any Occasion.
This is an unconventional birthday card in the sense that there is no "Happy Birthday" on the front. The birthday wishes are inside. Cake isn't mandatory for Birthday celebrations. I used to love a banana cream pie from Marie Callendar's when I lived in California. An Ice Cream lover might prefer a big ole cone to celebrate the big day.
What's your favorite birthday celebration treat?
Thanks for visiting.

Darling mouse with the ice cream, Cat! We love to order the ice cream cake from DQ or get designer cupcakes from the bakery. A big baked cake is a thing of the past - as a kid my mom made the best shaped cakes and I once got the cake serving as the ball gown to a Barbie doll - so fun!!
This is a great combination of Copic coloring and ink blending, Cat! That ice cream cone looks delicious!
A darling card, beautifully colored and perfectly CAS. You're so good at this! Such a cute stamp. My Rich would rather have pie than cake, so I always aim for a cherry or apple pie for him. I'm an ice cream fan.
A total delight! Cute image and great coloring.
A wonderful sentiment! I love your CAS treatment too it looks so cute. Thanks for sharing with us at stamping Sensations challenge.
After spending my day on the porch with my butterfly buddies, I'll admit all I wanted to do was lounge in the AC and watch tv, too - hooked on Secret City on Netflix!
Ice cream is our snack of choice - like you darling little mouse has for his treat! SOO cute!

What a cutie! and LOVE that's he's enjoying ice cream -- a real favorite at our house. Growing up, I always had a Birthday pie -- frosting is something I could skip, so peach it was! and of course that goes with ice cream - yum!
This one is so much fun Cat! Perfect for the heat.
That mouse certainly looks like he is enjoying his ice cream, birthday or not. Love the blended background xx
Totally adorable & perfect for a BD card! My favorite treat is Mud Pie! As my hubby says--I could live on chips & ice cream--haha!
