With Sympathy

 Hello -

Hubs is working today so I had a little face time crafting with Peggy.  Three challenges caught my eye and I am completely out of sympathy cards.  I don't care to make them when needed, so I try to make a few when they run out.  My preferences are botanicals and monochromatic cards.

Each card is for a different challenge and I am showing them individually in order of challenge due dates.

Freshly Made Sketches gave us a square sketch.

I liked the roundish leaves as the focal point with all the geometric shapes surrounding them.

I chose the lower left to upper right diagonal - Diecuts, Twine, Bright Colors.

The Less is More challenge asks for ink blending.

I chose to use a similar shade to the watercolored leaves in a new stencil recently gifted to me by friend Hilary. The blending is deliberately in  an ombre fashion.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Enjoy your weekend.

difficult to choose a favorite, Cat - love how all three use the same colors, die and yet are so different - and so good seeing you join us at TicTacToe this week.

Cat each one is beautiful and sure to bring comfort to those who need it.
Just love that leafy die! Your stenciling is wonderful - but did you also create the paper panels on the other two? They are gorgeous!

Three wonderful cards, love that colour and the interest in the blending. I think I like the one with the stencilled background best xx

Wonderful cards, Cat -- and I definitely agree that it is best to make them when NOT needed, it's just too emotional to make them otherwise.

Cat, all three cards are just wonderful. I love the aqua and white color combo and the elegant design of each card with the eucalyptus die in white. I'm so happy you joined us at the Tic Tac Toe challenge this week!
