Did everyone survive the 4th? In our neighborhood it sounded like we were in a war zone. So many people had fireworks. Not small ones either, the big booming ones. I just feel bad for all the animals that have anxiety. Hopefully they are done now. They've been going off for a bout 10 days now, but last night was by far the longest and loudest.
I finally got my crafty space cleaned up some...aka the vacuuming was done; seems to make the room feel clean when I am without small bits of paper all over the floor.
I am playing along at MFT today - with both their color and sketch challenge. I love the odd bit of botanical whimsy and I thought the colors would work well. MFT stamps are Bitty Birthday Wishes and Wild Flowers. I used the pinks and yellow on the baubles and colored over the stem with a dark green copic to incorporate all the colors.

that's a difficult sketch and you did a wonderful job incorporating it and the colors - know what you mean about all the booming last nite - sometimes i wonder if half the people shooting all the fireworks really know what the 4th commemorates???
Wow, this is pretty, too! You do make the prettiest cards. I love the blend of color on the plant. Last night was loud and long fireworks in our neighborhood, too. Pretty sure some of them weren't legal in our state, but I don't know who had them. The kids sure do have a good time. I just love their happy faces. We went for a dive and then stayed home in the evening.

We too had HUGE fireworks all around us, and we live out of town where most lots are just at an acre or larger. We had one dog freaking out, and he's not usually the one -- his age might be a factor. I too hope they're done now, we had such a small window since we are still in Phase 1, fireworks weren't really allowed but there were definitely some illegal ones...
