It's time for the next Twofer Card Challenge. This month the prompt is Butterflies.
As usual I picked out my stamp set, Butterflies from Hero Arts/Sizzix.
The set contains 3 butterflies and a dogwood branch. Its a very old set, but I love it.
Remember for our challenge you need to follow the challenge rules below:
After choosing my stamps, I generally draw a sketch:
Here are the two cards together.
I hope to see your cards in the gallery this month! Thanks so much for visiting.

Both cards are so beautiful. The first card is as cheerful and colorful as summer, with the second card your choice of colors fits perfectly with the sentiment.
Those bright butterflies against the scalloped border are just lovely, Cat ... and what a great idea for the shaped card ... that single coloured flutterer against the monochrome line art really pops! Hugs, Anita :)
Lovely makes, Cat! Thanks also for the gorgeous card you sent - I love it, Jo x
Gorgeous! These colors are dreamy and the designs fabulous
I don't think you could have found more perfect blues for your cards if you'd tried! The colors are gorgeous, and those butterflies are stunning. The little pops of yellow on the big ones, plus the soft orange really make these images stand out. And your little cutie on the dogwood is so delicate. Fabulous card, my friend. Love 'em! Sending hugs, Bev
Great butterfly twofer, Cat!! Just love the teal scalloped half circle with its trio of butterflies on card one! And that oval dogwood card with the one colored butterfly looks amazing!! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Beautiful
Two wonderful cards Cat, I think the oval one is my favourite, love the black and blue xx
Two pretty cards Cat! I love the colors of your butterflies and a dogwood tree is one of my favorites!
Just gorgeous, Cat. I love the butterflies, no wonder you love them too. And that blue paper is such a nice deep shade. SO pretty.
I love your little oval shaped card, Cat! It's so sweet and you made the butterfly and sediment really pop by keeping the dogwood black and white! Speaking of pop, WOW, your birthday card design is beautifully colored and I love the scallop swoop the butterflies seem to be making across your card front! Hugs, Darnell
Butterflies, AND Dogwood blooms?? You really know the way to my heart, my friend!
Gorgeous times two MILLION!

These are both GORGEOUS cards Cat!! I love how the colors of the butterflies on your 1st card pop against that blue scalloped panel...soooo pretty! And your oval card?? I am totally in LOVE with it!! One I love the shape, and two I love how the butterfly really, REALLY POPS against the black and white of your Dogwoods. Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Distinctly different and both fabulous and those butterflies are beautiful Cat x.
Two gorgeous cards, Cat! I love how you placed the small butterfly between the two larger ones on the first card...your color palette and scallop border are really lovely, too! I also love your oval card! The black and white dogwoods are so pretty and your single butterfly is so charming...Great inspiration, my friend! Thanks so much for having me along as GD for July :)
Both are beautiful, Cat! I'm going to play with my new butterflies I have yet to open. This is just the push I needed!
I always enjoy seeing your sketches and comparing them to the end result - it's fun to see the sketch come to life and see what got modified. I love the colors you used for your butterflies and scalloped curved border! Your oval shaped card and single butterfly among the dogwoods is the perfect little note card to tell someone that you miss them!
Terrific two-fer!
These cards are GORGEOUS!! I LOVE the way you used your butterflies. The pretty colors on the first, with the scalloped cardstock and the black and white flowers on the second. AMAZING design!
I'm so behind, but I'm glad to be catching up with you 'cuz I just love your style! These cards are both so pretty and brilliantly crafted. You're very good with the Twofers!
I have never sketch out my layout ahead of time. I guess I just start playing with cut pieces of papers. Maybe I should try it like you do it. These are some lovely cards.
Beautiful twofers! I love how you have colored your butterflies on your regular card, they are so pretty. Loving the color combo on both cards as well. Great sketches and a great execution of each sketch as both are beautiful cards! Hugs, Brenda
I like how you approach making your twofer cards, very clever planning! I just love the design of both cards and the colors are amazing too!
