A lil sewing project

Hello-

I have had my copic  markers in tulle bags separated by color family for a few years. I love that I can just grab a color family and have them all at hand.  I keep the tulle bags in a half wide deep art bin satchel.

Those bags have started to come undone, so I thought I’d sew some - quick straight seams nothing fancy.  I started collecting some fabrics- polka dots, zig zags, and gingham In various colors so each bag would coordinate with the color family.  I ended up using each pattern for 3 bags.

Just looking at all these colors and patterns make me happy!

Thanks for visiting.

Wonderful project, Cat - looks like you had fun sewing!! Just love the colors and patterns!! I use old Tim Holtz covered tubes for my Copics but they're getting kinda full. Always great to see how other people organize!!

What a clever idea! I'm wanting to organise my pens but haven't yet hit on a method that works for me - this may be a way forward! Thanks for the inspiration, Jo x

Great way to organize. You have a lot of copics! Don't you find it handy to have products easily accessible? If tools are hidden or too far away from me, I don't use them as often!

What an impressive collection of copic markers you have and your little cotton bags are a genius way to store them. Bet you are pleased with yourself for completing that little project (I would be), and they will be much more sturdy than the tulle ones xx
