Today, I played with Simon Says Stamp's Spring Flowers, and PTI's Keep it Simple: Just Because sentiments.
I stamped the stamp set many many times and clear embossed it. Then I inked it up with distress inks, fussy cut the images and built bouquets. I was inspired by Laura Bassen's technique for coloring the blooms, her post is here.
I have 5 cards, and like bouquets they each have their differences.

i gotta tell you, i really love all of your flowers. i have never been a plaid person, but the plaid you used just looks fabulous! the colors are wonderful! i really love the dimension you used. not too much but just enough. all of these cards are so lovely. thanks so much for sharing them with us. hugs, treen

What a great way to showcase these beautiful flowers, Cat! You've given me lots of ideas...your inking and color combo's are so pretty, and I love how each bouquet is so unique! Thanks for inspiring me to ink up this set...actually, I may even have the 'just because' set from PTI, too :)
