What do you do with your newly purchased crafty items? I put mine in a bin. There they await being added to my inventory spreadsheet, given a new home in a labeled plastic sleeve, and to be used to make cards.
My bin is getting crowded, so I am going to tackle it in earnest this month.
First up, Simon Says Stamp's Present Shaker. I put the shaker together, and used some lavender fun foam for the bow and the sides. I colored the cross pieces to match the bow. The shaker bits are a combination of micro beads, white seed beads, and Martha Stewart's hearts and stars confetti glitter.
Thanks for stopping by!
PS. Here is a picture of the bin, I also have a couple of SSS card kits that need to be played with!

such a cute card, Cat - neat idea to use fun foam for the bow!
Cute card. I still don't NEED the colored craft foam. *ahem*
And I have a similar bin. New stuff goes in there, and once used, gets put into a sleeve and put away. I haven't bought a lot lately, so I'm still pretty good.
I love that you keep your NBUS separated until you've used it, Cat. I should do that, too, except I'd need a (ahem) giant bin and it would intimidate me! I absolutely love your present shaker card!! It's so fun!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
Good for you to tackle your bin, Cat...very smart! I love this charming shaker card! Great idea to use your fun foam...such a great color, and I love that you chose micro beads for the aperture, too! Can't wait to see what else you create with your new stash :)
