Balloons

Hi there-

Its been a great morning/afternoon catching up on challenges.   I have two cards to share.  They are going to Twofer - Balloons Just Us Girls Photo Week, Freshly Made Sketches and Shopping our Stash-Celebrating Friendship.

Both cards were made with the smallest Balloon die from a Paper Smooches Balloons set.  I cut 15 balloons.  Six in red, and the remainder in cool "guy" colors.  Here are the two cards together for the Twofer Challenge. One conventional and one unconventional.

For the unconventional, the balloons were folded lightly then glued down to make a flower with the balloon knot in the center. I covered it up with a gem.

Individually the birthday card will be entered to  Just Us Girls and Freshly Made Sketches.

And for the challenge at Shopping our Stash - Celebrating Friendship, whats better than giving a good friend a card just because?

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hi Cat!! You may get this twice, but I tried leaving a comment thru bloglovin but then it didn't show up... That bloglovin is hit or miss with me for some reason.
Both looks fabulous!! I love the blues and how perfectly straight you got them and the flower out of balloons is very clever!! I need some Just Because cards. Those are always so nice to have on hand. I've never seen that stitched square die that you used on the flower card. Do you mind sharing who the maker is? I love how it looks like you have another square behind turned a quarter turn.

I'm so glad you had a good morning, Cat! You have done a fabulous job of creating your Twofer and having it play nicely in other challenges, too! Your balloon grid is a great take on the FMS sketch and I love the colors you used. I think it's one of those cards that would work for any age and any gender. And your happy mail card for a friend, just because, is so pretty! Again, I love your color choice and how you made your card square to fit that unique and awesome square stitched die! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #14! Hugs, Darnell
