 Hi There,

I cannot believe its been a couple of weeks since I posted. Where is the time spinning away to this year?

I have a couple of fun fold cards to share:

The sentiment panel acts as the "lock" on this card holding down both right and left panel openings.

After the first one I wanted to switch out the panels due to the wave stamp. But I wasn't thinking and couldn't anchor the flap without covering up the heron, so I went with  a belly band instead on the second card.

These are both man cards, as many of my nature cards are.  I'll be sending them along to the following galleries: Creative Creases #49, and Anything Goes at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

 Hi there,

Today a bit of something different...especially for me.  A card for one of my new nephews.  He loves Star Wars and I have nothing that would work.  Luckily Google provided a site with step by step direction on drawing the robot.  Its not perfect, but I am satisfied with it.

I created a galaxy background and kind of a bit of a planet to ground the robot.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts and is silver embossed.

I am going to submit this to The Male Room - Galaxy and/or stars.

Thanks for stopping by.

 Hello-

Peggy sent me some more die cuts, actually they were in the same envie as the fence silhouettes.  All were cut in white and color was added via copics and patterned papers from Stampin Up and a bit of silver glitter scraps.  The sentiments are from The Greetery along with the die for cutting fun shapes.

My card is visiting Cupcake inspirations, where the theme is winter fun.

I made a couple more as well.

Thanks so much for visiting.

 Happy Friday!

My friend Peggy sent me some die cuts, and I loved them so much I made 8 cards out of them with some selective ink blending and a pair of snips.  I'm sending the cards to Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge.

I enjoyed the ink blending until...I wondered if the colors should be dark at the top not the bottom. So I switched up the inking so the silhouette would show better.  After I inked 8 cards I found a sentiment and  stamped it on. I glued on the die cut and the cards were done but not without some oopsies.

I smudged the inking into the white area at the top of three cards, so I glued a black panel down the side to cover.  My little square card was the result of a black ink pad escaping my grip to jump pad side down onto the lower part of the card and making a huge black diamond shaped ink blotch.

Thankfully only a screech exited my mouth...no bad words.  So now I am ahead of the game with 8 Halloween cards for this year.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

 Hello,

Another fun day in the crafty room...

Today's inspiration is from Color Hues - Light Pink and Gold.

I took a die cut someone had sent me...I have no idea of the who or the item's mfg, but it seemed a perfect landing spot for my Greetery dragonfly after I inked it up with saltwater taffy DOX.  The sentiment comes from MFT.

Thanks so very much for visiting.
