 Hey there-

Today I have a quick card for you.  I had some new goodies so I figured I'd play with them before they got filed. I have to be better at using my new stuff before it becomes dust collecting NBUS.

This is a double stamping set from SU. I am sending it to AAA Cards, CAS card with the option of making the sentiment focus.  Since its new, it'll go over to Darnell's NBUS challenge as well.

 Hello-

I hope anyone dealing with this heat wave is able to stay cool.  Have you seen the gorgeous inspo photo over at Just Us Girls?  I have an old long time favorite poppy stamp from Hero Arts that came out to play.

Its colored in a no line style.  The actual stamp had a lot of lines in it which I don't care much for, but I do love the lay out of the stamp.  The sentiment was found in my sentiment folder and I cannot remember which die its from. The sentiment perfectly brought in the sky and sand colors for those lovely poppies.

 Thanks so much for visiting.

Hello-

Its been a very long time since I posted with any regularity.  I finally unpacked my crafty boxes…all 45.  The crafty space is not photo sharing ready…that will take a few more months.  But for now, everything has a place…I just need to remember where. LOL.

Along with our move to Ohio, my sweet crafty friend Peggy passed this month.  Its been tough.

On to happier things.  I was excited to see Michele’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I thought it would be a good one for me to dip my toes in as I get back into this wonderful hobby.

I made the sketch taller in my head while designing the card and kept the same elements along the right side.  These are all bits that were in various envelopes from goodies stamped and sent to me over the last decade.

It was a learning curve for sure.  Took me 3 hours to get this done...and I only stamped and cut the sentiments, and colored and fussy the image.  It took a while to feel comfy at my desk and then finding everything.  But, I did it I got a card made and will try another tomorrow and on from there.

Hopefully I can get back to my 30 minute cards, and find my light box!

 Hello All,

Hubs and I bought a home in Ohio, and moved from Maryland once we sold the old home and packed up. It was a bit of a rush, the house sold and we had 2 weeks to skedaddle on our way.

We gave away a lot of our household items, dumped some and donated lots.  I knew I'd want new stuff for the new place.

So upon arriving in Ohio we had to wait a week for our stuff to arrive. We used PODS, and they only deliver and pick up one day a week in our area of Ohio.  We unpacked some, bought lots including appliances.  We had had the house painted and re-carpeted while we were in Maryland winding things up there.

We still have to find living room furniture, and of course my craft room.  I need help moving the boxes and had to put it on hold while hubs dealt with business stuff for the month of March.  So I hope now we can get a move on with the crafty space.

I had hoped to get our Easter cards, but I don't see it happening at this point.  So we should all be up-to-date.

I leave you with a pic of  my crafty mess.

Hopefully I'll be back at creating and blogging before the next month rolls around.
