Some water color Christmas

Hi There...

My cards are finished and in the mail.  I am going to take it easy on the card front the rest of the month.  I do have posts prescheduled til Christmas.  I know we are all busy busy busy...so for the remainder of the year...less to read I am just posting the card photos. I'll make it by to comment as much as I can, though I do expect it to be less often that usual.

At Last...

Hi There,

My weekend goal is complete. The last cards are done.  I so fell in love with the bubble/ornament wreath in the Ellen Hutson set Homespun Holiday, that it had to come back out again.  The card bases are heavy weight and are embossed with stitched coverplates in either a woodgrain or a quilted pattern. The wreaths were embossed with gold or platinum powders and the were cololored with zigs, and matted with vellum.

The pictures are a bit washed out because it is nighttime and I had to use artificial light and lighten them post photo.

Now I am going to put stamps on all my envelopes and enjoy the Saints v Panthers football game.

It is a masculine card, with just a touch of frippery in the white stitched lines. (lol)

Hi There,

I am whittling down that 15 cards I still need...I think it is under 10 now. Definitely do-able and will have them in the Mail Monday!

This one was inspired by  Muse.  Kimberly Weiner gave us this adorable card:

I was inspired by the blue mat and the stack of images.  I loved the silver embossing on an earlier card and went with that again, incorporating stacks of gifts, and a lovely aqua blue with a simple sentiment.

Merry Monday 267

Hi there,

I have stuffed my addressed envelopes and found I have 14 cards left to make; so I am hitting the challenges for inspiration.

This one is for Merry Monday # 267  .   The prompt is to use Green, Blue, Sliver/White /Vellum.

I got a surprise in my last order from Ellen Hutson, The Homespun Christmas stamp set. I love the wreath image and was glad to use it for this challenge.

Last CCC of 2017

Hi everyone!

The card chain challenge runs January through November, so this is the last exchange card for this year for the CCC.

My card is going to Gail in Norway, she is part of the team that keeps the site together and updated and sends us our reminders to get the cards mailed.

I went with three of the many options, the sketch, the colors and the theme of friends.  I am falled out. I can't even think of making another fall card for a while so I went to my favorite...flowers.
