 Hi there,

I managed to get to the crafty space and spend some time crafting.   I decided to play with a new set of dies and stamps from SSS A2 Grid Basics.  There are two die sets and one stamp set.

I decided originally on a dark card base with the white divider.  While I love the way it turned out, a big goof got it to this end point (a good thing that I try not to toss a goof.)

That lower left section got stamped badly, so I cut it out and added a sentiment popped up in the space on the inside panel of the card.  I love that its a bit quirky. It stands nicely so its a big win.

Once I cut out the grid, I didn't want that floppy piece of white card stock in my pile of bits as it would get destroyed with the openings and other things getting stuck in there so I used it .  Most elements are stamped on the white card. I had to re-stamp the tulip and die cut it to cover up another goof.

I had to get a new light box for photos, the old one's power cord lost its bounce and wouldn't turn on consistently.  I grew tired and frustrated with the minutes long search for the sweet spot. I did try to find the cord replacement...but no joy.  I am getting used to the new one.

Thanks for stopping by, now we're all caught up.

Cat, that grid couldn't be cuter! Not only do I favor the grey - surprised? - I love that you saved it in such a fun and quirky way! Way to go getting second helpings done, too!

Two great saves, Cat! I wouldn't have know they were to cover up anything. They look fantastic and intentional! Two great birthday cards!

Sometimes goofs make the most interesting cards. Love your fix... clever thinking! I love the dark gray and yellow combo. I love the negative cut on white, too! Now I'm going to have to have another look at the Grid Basics!

Really fun designs with some products I've never seen before!

Something completely different—and I’m thrilled. I really like this geometric arrangement. And I like both color variations, too.

Puppydog improving and we're getting into a routine. Dead laptop, but able to use my phone and do some blog reading. Fun grid cards with sweet images, my friend! Love how you were able to save them!

Such a fun design with that grid, Cat! Love both versions but what a great idea to clip one out with a sentiment on the inside - love that!
