No Challenges just playtime

 Hello-

One of the nice things about cleaning up my space was going through my bin of diecuts and stamps off that crafty friends have shared with me.

For this card, I found the die cut, and the bokeh background that I had made and I thought they'd look nice together. A quick card with a diecut of the bokeh panel, an embossed sentiment and a triplet of gems to match.

I bought a pack of 20 cards and envelopes from Stampin Up's clearance section. The card bases were printed with yellow dandelion looking blooms.  I added a flower colored in pale blues a few gems and cut the colored flower panel into an oval piece with the sentiment. I'm quite happy with this farily quick card too.

Thanks for visiting!

I love it also when I just have playtime and can go through die cuts and other stuff friends have sent me (you included!) - two lovely cards - love that first one especially!

Do you hear my sigh? I'd like to just step right into your first card... all that beautiful green serenity. The bokeh is so lovely. And then your delicate blue flowers are perfectly backed by the ready-made card base. I love your color choices on that. I'll be happy when things return to normal at my house and I can stamp my heart out.

I'm so inspired at how you are trucking right along and crafting with your found items right on the heels of the cleanup, Cat! I love both designs, but that first one I found in my mailbox today and I am in love with it! That's a gorgeous background and if you can find out who makes that pretty leafy die, I'd love to know. Thank you so much for remembering me! Hugs, Darnell

Sometimes it's really fun to play with things you've found again. And sometimes cards are even created that are not typical for you, and I think that's great.
