Thank You

Hello-
I have transitioned from Vampire hours to as hubs calls it early to bed early to rise.  Meaning I conk out at about 11 pm and wake up at 4 :30 or 5 am.  I may or may not nap around 4 pm as well.  Its better than Vampire hours by a long shot.

We are on the edge of a thunderstorm right now, its booming outside and I can feel my self start to get sticky with the rise in humidity. UGH.  Sounds like a good time for a shower and a nap...if only my Mom hadn't raised me to not shower during a thunder storm...after this post the nap will have to do.

A bad stamping necesitated a little die cut window for the sentiment. After all its one layer card so I couldn't glue anything over it.  The sentiment is on the inside.

Three challenges seemed to come together for me and this simple Thank You card. I adore the colors, like the simplicity of a one layer card and enjoyed using outline and solid stamps.  The challenges are Cupcake Inspiration, Less is More and Addicted to CAS.

Thnaks so much for visiting...what is your favorite way of taking care of a less than perfect stamping without starting over?

great idea to fix the mistake - there's always usually a way isn't there? and good for you not to be one the vampire hours - you're probably getting the storm we had here about 3AM this morning - was a good rain tho.

The boo-boo actually made for a super creative & fun card--love it! So glad your schedule has improved! Hoping the storms didn't cause any problems. We're having a nice break from hot temps & it's perfect in my eyes!

What a great save and a perfect CAS card. It is bitterly cold up here in Scotland but we have had some awful storms over the weekend x.

Oh no, but very well recovered, I don't think I would have thought of that. Love the colours and the simplicity xx

what a cute way to hide an oopsy daisy - it would be just as cute if done on purpose!

This is probably better than vampire hours, no? We crafters are so clever at fixing mistakes. I love it!

Oh, wow, what a cute idea for a fix! Your card is super pretty. My brilliant ideas are usually just cut it down or cover it up. Glad you're on a better sleep schedule now. I hope it lasts!

I very nearly used that Uniko set for my sample card! Love those colours and I'm glad you mis-stamped as I love that idea to die cut an aperture to show the sentiment on the inside. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x

What a clever way of dealing with an oops, Cat ... this is so soft and pretty! I usually add a sequin or something similar if it looks ok ... otherwise, it's a start-over experience! Hugs, Anita :)
