Cool Cat

Hello-
Another day and I am still in a weird dream much like a geopolitical thriller about a loose virus.  Oh wait...I am awake.  I thought watching too much news had been bad...Yesterday hubs and I got up and went to the grocery at 6 am hoping it would be uncrowded and stocked up.  Not too crowded easy to maintain social distancing...but the shelves...no milk, meats sparce, frozen foods decimated, bread...what bread? Hubs did manage to snag some burger buns.  Produce poor.  So its reality smacking ya in the face.  We did go to Panera afterwards and picked up some fresh sourdough loaves which I later cut in halves and froze.  We don't eat a lot of bread, but its nice to have some when you want it.

Okay well my odd mood is reflected in the cards today...not my best designs...but the messages are heartfelt. I used up two new stamp sets and a die set.  That bin is getting less crowded by the day.

Thanks for stopping by!

The kitties are absolutely darling!

When did your panic start? Ours is going on day 11, I think? Our stores were still decimated on Monday but I have heard that they are much better now (at least the store my friend shops at).

I think that if every store had decided to limit items (like bread, meat, basics) that everything would be better. I don’t know where some people are putting all that extra food they must have bought.

I know exactly how you feel, it is all very unsettling, but you are still making cards and working through your box of unused stamps so that must feel good. A lovely little collection of cards xx

Hi Cat, our local grocery store is limited 1 pkg of chicken per family and they can't keep it on the shelves. Lots of empty shelves here in NJ, too. Actually, my neighbors told me because my grown children won't let me go shopping! They want me to stay home. This area, the Northeast, will probably be "stay home" status soon. Take care and stay safe. I'll be back to card making soon. Right now I'm distracted!

Two more stamp sets and a die set? You're on a roll! I can't seem to get anywhere. Baby steps. These are all darling! I love all critter stamps. We batched up all our errands today and made the rounds. Strict rules about touching things and keeping distance. The credit union lobby was closed for safety so everything was drive through -- LONG line!! One store out of bread, but we were able to get a couple of loaves at the bakery outlet. Crazy!
