Muse 223

Hi There

Today I am playing at Muse with Anita Bowden's inspiration card.

I love those bold colors as well as that black card base and I was inspired by them to make this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

What is your stand on black card bases?

Love your take on the Muse card Cat, these colours are gorgeous together. I love black card bases, perfect frames and they can really make things pop! Cathy x

I agree and do use black card bases especially for guy cards and sympathy cards. I use a nice white piece of card stock inside for sentiments and hand written messages. This Muse challenge is one I need to try.

Oooh, love the colors!! I always use black card bases, if they match my card front better. Then I just die cut a nice frame for the inside on white card stock. Some cards just don't look good on a white card base...

A fabulous colour wash with that gorgeous scripty sentiment, Cat ... so pretty! Don't often use a black card base, rather I attach a black panel to a white one, then it doesn't need lining! Hugs, Anita :)

Great interpretation of Anita's Muse card; Love the black frame - I feel it helps to make the main card panel "pop".
