The second of our three nephews is graduating from High School this spring.  I have one graduation cap stamp in my collection, which I got out of the Michael's $1 bin several years ago.  This is the 5th graduation card made with the stamp. I'd say I've gotten my money's worth.

I followed the school colors, and colored the caps with copic markers.  I deliberately left three un-colored to keep the design from being too colorful.  I really like the mix of colored and plain mortarboards.  The edges of my white card base were also colored with the matching copic shade as was the banner.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. Good deal, for sure! Such a festive card & I love being able to use the school colors--these just happen to be mine, so brought back memories!

  2. You sure have ... and every time you use this little $1 stamp, I wonder why I haven't got it! REally great card/design!

  3. Love this graduation cap and how you followed the school colors...Really fun card, Cat! Lucky you to have gotten such a bargain :)
