Birthday Wishes

Hubs likes the nature cards, so for his birthday he got a schmoozy card which I am not posting, and this nature card.  He rated it top 5 of all the masculine cards I've made.  So I'm calling it a winner of a birthday card!

The bird and foliage is from a Stampin Up set called Moon Lake, and the tone on tone stamped wood grain is also from Stampin Up called Hardwood. It is hands down my favorite wood grain stamp. I used distress markers for the watercoloring, and the frame was cut using dies by MFT - stitched pinking edge square.

Thanks for stopping by!

It is wonderful! I loe the woodgrain softly stamped on the background. The bird is very masculine and I think that kind of pinked edge on cute with your die also tends toward masculine. TFS!
