Hi everyone. I tried a new online class venue this week, its from Altenew Academy. I have to say I love the price point, and I have really enjoyed the first three lessons. The class I am currently taking is Color Your Day taught by Therese Calvrid. She has walked us through some stunning cards and offered up some great advice. Today I give you my first three day's homework pieces. They were inspired by a photo, the color wheel, and proportions of colors on a card.
I used Altenew stamps and Inks for the most part.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

ALL your cards are so beautiful, what a great idea to die cut the leaves from design paper it adds a subtle but fab detail to your posy, and I can't get over the depth of red you have achieved in the freesias!
wonderful cards Cat - i'm taking the class also - have yet to do any homework, but love the class
Cat I wanted to take this class SO badly ... funds are tied up at the moment - though I do agree their price is fantastic! All beautiful, but card #2 with that gorgeous background stamping has stolen my heart! [wishing someone would like to 'play cards' with THIS beauty!!!] xx

Really gorgeous cards, Cat! I can see you're getting a lot out of this class...A+++ on your homework, for sure! I'm enjoying the class too, but haven't done any homework...yet :)
Your homework cards are gorgeous! I too am taking this class. Haven't stamped any home work as I have limited use of my one good hand (two fingers so far). But I will give it a try this weekend.nhugs
These are gorgeous - I'll have to check out this class!
Oh my, your cards are lovely! They are all very different, but I could not choose a favorite! I have been following Therese's blog for a while, and I just love watching her videos. She is so calm. :) I don't own any Altenew stamps (yet) but I thank you for letting us know you like the class :)
