Birthday Flowers

This is my last week visiting my Dad.  I have three cards this week, all of them colored using Copic's.  During July I somehow found Kelly Latevola's blog...wow her colored images are
F A B U L O U S.  I am a lover of bright colors and she showcases them so well. I have been a follower ever since and never miss an opportunity to see her creations; and her You Tube videos are not to be passed by.

I was inspired to stop playing with my watercolors and pick up the Copics.  I liked the shadowing Kelly does but it will probably be quite a while before I get that flicking stroke down.  For the mean time, I am quite happy with my three colored cards this week.   So take a peek, and come back twice more to see them all! ;-)

The flowers are from Magenta, the sentiment is from WPlus9 and it has so many choices it is a must have set.  I love this option of something different than Happy Birthday!

Thanks for stopping!

Why yes, Kelly is amazing. She has encouraged me to be bold and go darker with my darkest color for shading. Baby steps. Your coloring is wonderful!

Beautiful Copic coloring, Cat! I love how your flowers cascade downward on this card, too...such a lovely design!
I'm a big fan of Kelly, too...learning so much from her videos, but you're right ~ The flicking technique is tricky :)

What a great floral stamp & your coloring is wonderful, Cat! I pretty much just color bling with my Copics, haha! That is a neat sentiment--have to check into that set!
