Its Green

I am getting this card in under the wire for Muse #106. I used the muse card as a sketch.  I line the vertical row of hearts, it looks like those hearts might be on the inside of the card, but tough for me to tell.  I went with a more straight forward version.

Here is the Muse Card by Shona Chambers

I am not making a lot of St. Patrick's Day cards as I have in years passed, but I am going to make a few.

I used a Stamps for Life set that I have had for ages. It has a few sayings and several sizes and styles of shamrocks.  The ink was from Simon Says Stamp in green leaf, and some Onyx Black from Versafine.  The cardstock is from Stampin up.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love it!!! So simple...yet amazing!

  2. Great take on the Muse inspiration, Cat! I missed the challenge again.

  3. Very nicely done, Cat! The shamrocks are a good substitute for the hearts.

I never make St. Patrick's cards anymore. I only have a few stamps for it and they are at least 20 years old. LOL

  4. Hi Cat - such a great card with that fresh green! We had so much snow yesterday, so green is good! Too bad I don't really have any use for St. Patrick's day cards....

  5. your take on that card!!
    Perfect for St-Patrick's Day!!!

  6. So jealous of your shamrock stamps!! They look amazing on this card and just love how you kept everything green. You also matched the green cardstock on the edges perfectly with your ink, it frames the card beautifully. Thank you so very much for joining me at Muse this week. Just in case your interested, this card would be great for the Simply Create Too and Curtain Call challenges......Enjoy your week!

  7. Ah, green! I absolutely can not wait for spring and this card is a great reminder that it's coming! So glad you joined us at Muse this week!

  8. This card just makes me smile, Cat! I love how you stamped the shamrocks and the sentiment is fabulous! Awesome take on Shona's inspiration card!

  9. OH I just adore that fresh clover card! It's such an awesome design! And I also really like the very CAS flower card. Awesome work, my friend.
