Insomnia Crafting

Now that the weather has tuned cooler I had hoped that I would sleep better.   Several nights ago I actually went to bed around 11:30 which is about 2 hours early for me.  I woke up at 1 and was wide awake. I usually watch some tv or read trying to get to sleep again.  This time I made some cards. I pulled out a pack of Stampin Up papers - I loved the soft subtle colors and went to work.  Crafting when you can't sleep is infinitely better than reading or watching tv til you drop off...

Stamps from Hero Arts, Stampin Up; dies from Lawn Fawn, My Favorite Things, Sizzix; Embossing powders from Hero Arts; Gems from Stampin Up; Stencil from Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by!

Man - you shouldn't sleep more often because you've got some great insomnia-fueled designs! I especially like that middle one with the layers and layers of snowflakes.

I was just going to say the same thing: you should craft more often during insomnia! These are so pretty!!

A real trio of 'Gorgeous-ness', Cat!!! I love how you can sit down and design 3 really beautiful cards in the same color palette, yet each one is so unique! Love them all so much!

Oh how these colors make my heart sing, Cat! Each one is beautiful in its own way. Especially love the silver embossed tree.

I too love the colors! Thanks so much for the inspiration. Understand about insomnia - I usually read but will have to try making a card.
