I have several December birthday cards to make, and here is the first. I love the Tim Holtz Festive Stencil, and decided to ink it up for one of the Birthday cards I need this month. I used Simon Says inks in Green Leaf, Dark Chocolate, and Schoolhouse Red; and, a touch of Pine Needles Distress ink to color the stencil image.
I used a stacked Happy Birthday sentiment (I cut a bunch out on my Silhouette Portrait a while back), and inked it with the Pine Needles and then covered it with clear Wink of Stella - it is a new brush and wow, it does put out the shine. (My old one was filled with water, and I can't wait to use it for some water coloring.)
I added some Darice sequins and Lawn Fawn twine to finish the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
