I have been wanting this die from Simon Says Stamp for a while now, and I saw it being used beautifully lately at Lin's blog here and here.
Seeing her gorgeous cards, so beautifully designed really increased my desire to get the die ordered. It arrived this week, and I put it to use making this thank you card.
I am entering this into Virginia's View Challenge #5.
I colored the petals with Copics, then added a bit of clear Wink of Stella. The center gems are from Queen and Co, they are kind of
checkerboard cut and I thought they would make perfect flower centers.
My sentiment is also from Simon Says Stamp. I have layered a piece of yellow cardstock between the front panel and the card base so that the yellow hue shows behind the petals.
Thank you for stopping by!

I really love this card, Cat! The yellow is so bright and cheery, and the dimension is fabulous! Beautiful Copic coloring, too! I also love those darling gems...so fun that they have a pattern! Now, I 'have to' put this die on my wishlist :-)
Beautiful! That is a cool die!♥
You have brought these flowers to LIFE, Cat! I love how you used this SSS partial flower dies! Thanks so much for playing Virginia's View Challenge!
LOVE what you did with these dies. I got mine after seeing Kathy R's card for the Simon blog, and well, you know, I can't hold a candle to that!
I like both of Lin's cards, too. I see a way to get rid of some of my squillion brads!!!
Love your happy golden blooms, Cat! These dies are fun, aren't they? Thanks for the kind words!
