My In-Laws celebrated their wedding anniversary recently. Hubs and I were heading to bed after a day of packing and getting ready for our trip to California to spend the holidays with my Dad. I woke up in a panic about 30 minutes after heading to bed...I had forgotten to make the anniversary card. I got up a bit earlier and headed to my craft room to put this together. It is a simple white embossed card on a golden card base. The upper corners were rounded to mimic the cake edges. I love this stamp set from Avery Elle. Have a wonderful day, thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful simplicity, Cat! Love the detailed border at the bottom.
Happy Anniversary to your in-laws! I've had those panic moments too!

This is such a gorgeous card, Cat! Especially since you created it in a pinch! I love the gold background with all the white embossing and how the cake looks like it's sitting on a pretty table! I'll bet your in-laws loved it!
Wowzer--that was a fast & fabulous save, Cat! Gorgeous card! May have to add that set to my wishlist.
Your card looks so elegant! I can't believe it was a quickie. Nice job.
This is a very CASlicious and elegant anniversary card to keep in my idea folder! Excellent work, Cat, considering it was a last-minute rush!! I hope you had a wonderful time in California! Hugs, Darnell
